I wanted beach shade that was lightweight and easy for one person to set-up. I also didn't want it to fly across the beach with the first wind gust. This was perfect. Lay the tent out in an X pattern with the sandbags stretched taught. Dig 4 small holes in the sand, place the sandbags in, fill, and cover with sand. Don't worry about tying the bags up tight, the sand isn't going anywhere. Put the tent poles where you want them, (I put mine about 18-24 inches from the front, and about 2.5 feet apart.) Large enough for two people, and you can simply move the poles for optimum shade as the sun travels across the sky. No need to move the sand bags. I had many people ask where I bought it, and I sent them this way. Fits easily in a backpack chair.

Only able to use this tent once and not really even then - it was impossible to put up. There are no instructions and it would not stand up at all in only 8 mph breeze. The bag broke that first - and only - time as well. Nothing good to say as we couldn't get it upright to even try it out. This is definitely not a beach tent; it might work in a sandy field where there is no breeze and you can figure out instruction-less setup.

Haven't even taken it out of the box and the carrying bag is already ripped and useless! Update to come once I use it. Also, the instructions give no direction how to fill the sandbags!

There was no place to keep the poles attached to the fabric so they do not stay on if there is any kind of wind, which at the beach there always is. I wasted a lot of time trying to figure out how to get it to stay.

Good value compared to others. Can tell the materials aren’t greatest quality though. Watch videos on recommendations for setting up. The tip to use the ties to secure the support poles to the canopy helped a lot.

I tried to get away cheaply by buying something "close" to the original one that I saw. Should have just paid the money. This will not stay up. Not well made.
