Okay so I love being barefoot, but we’ve been in a deep freeze lately and I’m finding a chill is always on my feet. I actually hate socks but these I’ll wear all day and night!The only negative is I think there’s not enough stretch in the ankle which makes it super hard to get on my foot. I wear a size 11-12 Wide shoe and there’s plenty of stretch across the metatarsals and the heel actually hits where my heel is without making my toes confined. But putting the sock on takes a lot of work to get it over the heel; wow is it lacking stretch around the ankle section of the sock. But they are not binding, they don’t slip down and they are comfy all day long. As a diabetic I appreciate the fact it doesn’t bind and cause indents around the calf so I do recommend this sock.I’ve washed these on warm and tumble dried them and they’re just fine; they actually are softer too. They do take extra time to dry. Nobody will ever make the mistake of wearing the socks inside-out because there are hundreds of threads inside the sock. Normally I hate this because it ravels, runs and gets caught on the toes but so far the threads are tight and there’s no issue. We’ll see over time if this holds up. Colors do not run and they are a nice thickness. I enjoy walking around in these because they are slightly padded, warm and cushy soft on my feet.I recommend these to sock haters, diabetics, and people with big and wide feet. However, if you have a larger ankle, arthritis or lacking strength/mobility in pulling on socks then these are not your best choice, maybe go with the 9 to 5 socks sold here on Amazon.

I love everything about these socks! The fit is perfect and the patterns are terrific, making them look like very expensive socks. They are comfortable and light weight (not heavy and bulky) They are exactly what I was looking for. I like the height, especially for these colder days. I’ve washed and dried them a few times already and colors and fit are still sharp. Gave four stars for warmth because they are NOT HEAVY, THICK socks and the warmth is not overwhelming. The packaging is very nice for gifting! I would and probably will buy more patterns and colors. A great inexpensive gift with wonderful unique designs….and practical!

I really like the colors, warmth and comfort. I have had mine for over a year and have worn and washed them many times. I wear a size 8 shoe and the socks fit me perfectly. I would order again.

The only thing I would change about these socks is if they would come up a little bit further over my ankle... however they are very comfortable seem to go through the wash well and I would recommend them just a tad short for me personally

Just like any item, I read a few bad reviews. But I love these socks! They are warm, the material is soft and comfortable. They appear to be great quality. I have had them for a few months now so they have been washed countless times with no problems.

Nice pattern, vibrant colors, not bad quality. But socks are not very soft and not stretchable. My shoe size is 8 and I decided that 5 – 9 size should be ok. I never had problem with socks before. But these feel uncomfortably tight in length and around my ankle. Will be ok for someone with size 6-7 and thin ankles.And I got them in a dusty plastic bag not in a box as it was stated.The seller refuses to accept a return and replied: “You can try for a while. I believe it can suit you.”))))

I'm not sure why these are listed as 'novelty' socks, but... they're good socks. Really pretty colours that go nicely with all this seasons sweaters and colours. I'm really happy with them. They're warm and thick enough, seem like mostly cotton and keep their stretch and shape. Putting novelty in the name is slightly confusing and I think 'wool' might be off the mark too. They seem like cotton. They're soft, not at all scratchy and not warm enough to be wool, but sometimes wool hides well, especially in blends. Having said that, these feel like my other cotton socks which is good news for people who are allergic to wool.I think a lot of sellers put random words in the titles hoping to catch sellers and get into searches without really thinking about what they're doing...These come in a nice box, have good presentation and would make a lovely gift or stocking stuffer. They fit me which means that they're fairly small, they probably wouldn't fit over a woman's size 8 or 9. I'm a 5, they have some stretch to them and are a bit roomy on me.

These socks are simply beautiful. Not only do they look great but they are a terrific weight. Not too thick to get into sneakers but hearty enough for hiking boots. I haven't washed them yet (and yes I KNOW I should wash them before wearing...they were just so pretty lol) but I have a feeling they're going to hold up very well. Excellent value for $$

These are lovely socks. They are soft and if you buy as a gift, they come in a nice box. All fair isle socks will look like this on the inside, but I didn't find they snagged at all when I put them on.It clearly states the wool content, so don't expect to be going out in -35 with crappy boots and expect they will be warm. I live in Canada and these will be just fine, no different to my other socks. If you're looking for winter hiking, then this isn't the sock for you. All colours are very pretty. My foot is size 8, but these shouldn't have an issue fitting up to a 10.

I like the style and color of the socks, as well as the packaging. However, they are not very warm ; there were no descriptions of the percentage of all materials used on the box. I cannot be certain if the website is correct because I've bought other things that have different descriptions on the item and the website. The website didn't state the percentage of wool either, but similar socks from other vendors state about 30%. I also think the socks are too small to fit someone wearing size 9 - I'm a size 7 and I would prefer them to be longer on the feet and the height. They are almost like ankle socks. if your feet are wide, you will like the width of the socks. All in all , they are attractive and comfortable, but I wish they were longer, higher, and warmer - good price though
