Lens hood and cap kit bargain.
This little kit has arrived today so just 1st impressions for now. If I find any problems over the next few months I'll leave an update. What's in the kit:1. Rubber lens hood which screws straight onto your lens/filter and has 3 positions depending on how much light you're having to control. The rubber is thinner than a branded version but absolutely works fine and bounces back to circular if it happens to get a bit squashed.2. Hard petal type hood which is reversible for carrying/storage; the way this works is that the hood pops off a ring that screws into your lens/filter (see picture of tiny ballbearing mechanism of which there are 4 spaced evenly). Getting the hood on/off requires a simple push and has no 'play' once engaged.3. Lens cap with lanyard. Smooth mechanism although for some with larger fingers the design of the part one would 'pinch' does not have a lip under which one might place the fingertips for better purchase. The lanyard is fitted by inserting the thin, but strong, cable through a small hole in the cap. What looks like a sim card tool is supplied for this purpose. Fiddly but manageable and the metal tool does not damage the cable. The other end is an elasticated loop which is quite small (a good thing) that can either stretch over your lens or tied in the traditional method to the camera lug/strap.4. Fibre cloth which is about the size of something you might get from your optician. Always handy.Overall the quality appears to be good and the item solidly made and for £7.99 (if you can get it with free postage - £9.49 otherwise) it's something I have no problem recommending. These items don't effect optical quality so it's not like buying a cheap filter. Bearing that in mind I don't see any reason for buying branded goods that'll cost anything up to 8x more (and that's just for a hood!)

Very good value
Bought this as a replacement for a lost lens hood and cap. Surprisingly good quality for the money. The lens hoods are screw threads rather than the original Fuji bayonet fit but the fold back rubber hood is a permanent fixture and is a very effective shade when flare is an issue. The cap is a secure fit and works just as well as the makers cap it replaced

Apart from my error the product looked fine and well made
unfortunately this didn,t fit my Nikon p900,i should of read the compatability chart, there were Nikons listed but not the p900,my fault for skipping the small print. Apart from my error the product looked fine and well made.I have seen another one on amazon by LUMOS which does list the Nikon p900 and is similar in price.

Excellent Value For Money
This lens hood set was bought for a Nikon 35mm 1.8G ED full frame lens with 58mm thread. First the collapsible rubber lens hood :- Study design, thickness of rubber was ample, screw on to lens with no problem. Easy to fully extend and fully collapse but near enough impossible for it to remain in the "mid" position. On my 35mm lens when the lens hood is fully extended there is a slight amount of vignetting in corners and as I could not set the lens hood to the mid position I would suggest the rubber lens hood to be only used on lenses longer than 35mm. Now the Petal Shaped Plastic Lens Hood :- Solid nifty design. Has 2 components to it, the first is a adaptor ring that screws into the end of the lens or lens filter and remains on the lens all the time. This adaptor piece has a small groove all the way round it's circumference. The actual petal shaped lens hood has 4 tiny steel balls on the inside and these snap into position on the groove holding it in position but allowing it to rotate. When not in use you can just snap it out of the groove, reverse it so it is out of the way and then snap it back in so it is on your lens all the time if you wish. Very neat and tidy design. No problem with vignetting with petal shape hood on 35mm lens. On both the rubber and petal shaped hoods I had no issue with securing my original lens cap to either of them. Ordered item on Tuesday afternoon and received it Wednesday. Would highly recommend.

Surprising quality!
Given the low price, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of these lens hoods, especially the petal hood which has a heavy, solid feel to it! The mounting threads of both hoods are metal and seem robust, too. Great item!

Good purchase. Everything works for me.
Unlike a packet of items that I purchased for a Nikon P900 zoom camera, these items work very well with my Nikon D3400. The lens hoods fit well, the cap is tight and sturdy. It’s a little tricky getting the string for the lens holder though the hole of the lens cap, but eventually, you’ll get it.
