This little box of wonder is great for sending audio/video to my rca, svideo, auxillary capture box. If you want to record your dvd's, streaming music or video to digital format, then this hdmi to rca converter is worth the money. This is well-built and is a great price that won't break the bank. The quality is excellent. Durable enough to last many years to come. Cables are included to get you going. Overall, this little box can do several things. I can now backup my entire dvd collection. Super easy to setup and use.

Brought Our Old Family Tapes Back to Life
This little device made a big impact. I used it to convert some old VHS tapes to digital, and it worked perfectly. Setup was easy and the picture quality was better than I expected for such old footage. It’s been amazing to relive those family memories and share them with the next generation. If you’ve got old home videos lying around, this is a simple and affordable way to bring them back.

Connects NES to 4k TV
I bought this component-to-HDMI 720p/1080p upscaler to connect my NES (original) to my new 4k Vizio TV, which has no component inputs. It is well worth the price. Everything connected easily, using the included USB cable to power the unit via a USB port on the TV. I was skeptical about running such an old, low-resolution device through an upscaler, since I've read reviews about similar devices that didn't work as expected, but I can say that this one works well. The picture looks fine, with no unwanted visual effects that I can see. The upscaler initially takes a few seconds to send the picture to the screen, but after that it is smooth with no noticeable delay. If it works for a 40-year-old NES, it should work just as well for any other component device. If you're on a budget or if you have only one device you need to connect, this device is a great choice.

Works well but does sacrifice some quality
Very easy to set up, and it does work better than another one that I tried. I tested it on both a VRC and DVD player. On the VCR, there was a quiet buzzing sound in the audio, but I could not rule out the VCR. It worked fine on the DVD player. There is a slight drop in video quality with some aliasing but still easy to watch. It does come with a USB cable to provide power, and some of the reviews complained about it not having an AC adapter, but most TVs with HDMI ports also have USB ports on the back, so this was not a problem.

Worked perfectly for Nintendo Wii to new smart TV
This worked perfectly for connecting our Nintendo Wii to our new smart TV. The new TV does not have component inputs, so we needed a converter. I originally tried an HDMI converter that plugs directly into the back of the Wii and this didn't work, so I tried this component-to-HDMI converter and it worked perfectly. Basically, you use the video cable that comes with the Wii and this plugs into this converter, and then you run the HDMI cable from the converter to the TV.

Good product!
Exactly what my son needed for his classic consoles. He says it works great and was easy to hook-up. That's what it is all about, right? Good product and worth the money.

Ok for the price
It is ok for connecting to an HD TV if the old AV connections are not on the TV, but the picture looks the same when I connected the AV cables to my HD TV that had the AV ports still. The picture quality is a bit blurry and hard on the eyes.

It works great to connect my vcr/dvd combo to a Visio smart tv
It comes with an usb cord, but also needs a cord with hdmi connectors on both ends in addition to the red--yellow-white one that connects to the vcr/dvd
