I own several gold sluice boxes and the Le Trap is by far the best for really small gold. Just wish it came precut or with a templete but was not too difficult to cut myself. I modified mine with two carring handles that could support the weight of a brick to hold it down in the water. Just came back from my favorite sluice spot and I can tell you I am very happy with the Le Trap. I classified to 1/4" and this baby made some very nice cons.

This Sluice is one of the best scluice boxes in the market and a good choice using it as a high banker. If you try to cut carefully the top of it can work well in streams, rivers and some creeks with fast water running through it. The 4 stars because is an excellent equipment and not 5 stars because is overpriced, as a high banker this item alone is incomplete (you need the stand or legs, a pump and a classifier at the top). Made of bendable high quality plastic and looks that can break easily. The company says that you can use glue and connect the parts if broken but since then, its a perfect solution to catch the gold. I suggest to use this as a high banker and use another sluice box at the bottom made of rubber to catch even ultra fine gold. Thanks to the company for careful shipping and fast delivery.

le trap is great for what it does, we have it set up with grizzley 111, and works like a charm, gold does not sneak by it.
