Fabulously Flavoured Coffee
I'm quite particular about my coffee and I really love a dark roast, plenty of flavour, a sweetness and with no bitterness. I found all this with Indian Monsoon Malabar. The bag contains 1 kilo of beans (which smell heavenly) and I like to grind mine fairly finely, almost to the point of an espresso grind as I feel this gives most flavour and works well in a cafetiere. The flavour is full and rich with just enough acidity to tingle the tongue but without the bitterness. I really enjoy this with my breakfast and I've ordered two more packs since this first one.

Spicey and rich
Very pleasant, needed to make it a little stronger than other coffees to get the kick I am seeking

Fresh beans Rule...
I am very impressed with this coffee, there is noticeable difference between quality fresh roasted coffee and the usual supermarket cheaper coffee. They actually show the date to when this coffee was roasted! I will definitely be trying the other coffee combinations this guys have, also 1Kg lasts me for ever... sooo see you next time and keep on roasting!

Not Dark Roast
The coffee is OK but is not a Dark Roast as per what is in the details. Not quite the flavour I'm used to.

Over roasted and bitter
Having read so many good reviews and Monsoon Malabar being one of my favourite coffees, I decided to give this one a go. After all, it is a very good price and having seen the photos taken by others, it looked like it would fit the bill. Unfortunately, the coffee was over roasted and very, very black, which resulted in a bitter and undrinkable coffee. Despite playing around with my grind and extraction, I couldn't make it work well for me.

The most helpful coffee vendor imaginable
The first batch of these beans came as something of a disappointment, as they were lack-lustre in both senses of the word. I left a review to that effect on Amazon, and the vendor immediately e-mailed me to offer a replacement which he would roast to my personal preference (i.e., medium dark). These arrived today and are, as far as I am concerned, perfect in all attributes (roast, colour, sheen, aroma, taste). Never before have I experienced such excellent service, and I shall most certainly be ordering more beans from this vendor.

Makes a lovely coffee.
I usually drink very strong coffee so these make a bit of change for me, but I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by how nice a cuppa they make. They’re every so slightly oily but my grinder still seemed to make short work of them and once put through my coffee machine they did produce a lovely drink. They do have a very slight bitter taste I found, but it’s not off putting at all.The bag is huge though, so they’ll last a good while.

Couldn’t recommend more!
I’ve never seen coffee beans so glossy and oily before. So as expected the crema was out of this world. Resulting in beautiful lattes or rich Americanos.Couldn’t recommend more!
