Great Pump I have tried many other 12 volt pumps but this one is by far the best!
Its been four very hard years, this thing has taken a lot of abuse, including spraying wetable vineyard sprays. ... the rest is my first review...At 5.5GPM this pump is a monster. If your spray requires constant mixing this is your best bet. At 5.5GPM the bypass creates a great recirculation rate, keeping the contents in the tank well mixed for consistent spray applications. Durability ... I have several NorthStar pumps, other than a clean rinse after each use I have done no other maintenance. I have a 6A vineyard which requires weekly spraying and am on my fourth season and no pump failure. I only bought this one as a backup as the sprayer has become an invaluable tool and I cannot afford to be without it. In the meantime it is sitting in my basement with my 12V Car Jump/Booster battery as sump a backup. At 5.5GPM that pushes 330GPH through a 5/8 garden hose.

It works great for what I need it for.
Very good pump for the money. I looked around locally but couldn’t get anything for the same price or even close enough. I am very happy with it and just want to see how long it’s going to last before I have to replace or repair it

Correct replacement for my pull behind sprayer
Saw this on Amazon for way less than the local Northern tool store had. My pumps had issues from day one and when I use this pump, I’ll solve that problem hopefully. The price at the big local store was absolutely insane. This price was way more tolerable.

Northern Tool Northstar Pumps
Thede North Star pumps are excellent. Have used them for a number of years. take care of them; flush out after use, don't let them freeze and they last a long time. this one ordered as a spare since original is 5+ years old

Great pump!
Bought this as a replacement and have been very happy with how much better it works than the original. I recommend making power connections with 10 gauge stranded copper to prevent overheating and to extend motor life

Northern Tool Brand is garbage
Bought the pump mid Dec, installed mid Jan, ran 5 secs and stopped, fuse not blown, pressure switch not made. NorthernTool, will not replace it, even though it was inside the return-by date. I recommend not buying anything from Northern Tool, there are any number of other vendors that stand behind their products, and care about taking care of their customers.

Big improvement over original 2.1 gpm 60 psi pump
I bought this pump to replace a 13 year old FIMCO pump for my 25 gallon FIMCO spot sprayer. I wish I'd replaced it years ago! The old pump was a 2.1 gpm 60 psi 12 volt pump, underpowered for spraying a thousand feet of fence line and lots of poison oak with (ick) Roundup. This 5.5 gpm 60 psi pump sprays to drip off in a fraction of the time, making short work of an odious job. The unit installed without complication in the exact same footprint on the tank.

Works great, 2+ GPM at 40+ PSI
I bought this to replace the stock 2.1GPM pump on my tow sprayer. I wanted a higher flow pump so I could move a little faster. With this pump, I'm able to flow 2 GPM at 40 PSI, which to old pump could not do. For refernece, I'm using a 40 gallon tank with a 7ft boom and 5 AIXR red nozzles.
