Kranich Automatic Watch Winder Box Luxury Wooden Storage Case

This watch box and automatic winder looks great. The style is well designed, however the funtionality of this watch box is next to nonexistant. Most of my watches are 40 mm and below, which is not terribly large for a watch, but none of the pillows in the lower slots were big enough. Even for my 36mm Times Easy Reader, which is a tiny watch. The lower slots are workable though if you don't mind your watches looking a little cluttered. The watch winders however are completely unusable. The motors are near silent, so that's good. But the slots for the watches and the watch pillows are not actually big enough to hold watch. My Invicta Pro Diver awkwardly bobbles around the winder until it inevitably falls out completely. While my Bambino sits halfway out of the slot like a fat guy stuff into a tiny chair.I really wanted to like this product but unfortunately the desingers didn't actually consider watches in the porduct's construction.

This watch winding box looks really nice. The wood is a really nice glossy piano finish in a rich burgundy color. The winder works well. It does not constantly stay on though. It will rotate for 2 minutes then stop for 6 minutes then repeats. According to the instructions it is meant to keep an automatic watch running but may not wind it fully. It is super quiet and only if I try to listen for it in the middle of the night then I can just BARELY hear it. I just hope the winding mechanism will last for a long time.The only reason I am taking off a star is the packaging when it was shipped. It is not tightly packed so one of the winders fell out and scratched the inside of the plexiglass. Now there is a permanent scratch that I’m afraid to buff out because I don’t want to scratch it up too much.Overall great value though and I would recommend it

It looks quite beautiful. I feel I should get better watches now!Re-reviewed 6 months later:It looks top notch, and all my quartz watches are fine. The automatic ones however they are always 15 minutes behind when I use them. I used to think it was the watch, but now I have 3 other ones and all lag behind over time.I have Two Seiko 5, one Orient, and a Citizen, and they all miss the time for about 5 to 15 minutes in a month of not using them.Still I only need to adjust some minutes, but the moving mecanism definitely doesnt move enough.

The unit seems to be built fairly well. The "wood" and cloth seem ok for the money. However, My unit did NOT come with a power cord!! luckily, I had a cord that did work on hand. I contacted the seller - and they are supposed to send me one - in the meantime - I had Amazon exchange a unit for another one - this one DID come w/ the cord. I shipped the original unit back

So just looking at the case, it is very beautiful. Nice look and Very quiet.Now the negative stuff.... I have a wider than normal wrist so they didn’t really fit on the provided cushions in the winders. They would move and eventually fall out. They are not really heavy watches (a bulova automatic and an omega Seamaster). So I ended up buying an entire set of new cushions (black, only color) so I could use their outermost band, which worked...for a time. I have the feeling the watch holders that come with it don’t fit that well or maybe the depth of the slot for the watch isn’t that deep but my watches, yet again would fall out.If you have a normal sized wrist, I would recommend this but if you have a slightly larger wrist, I would not.

I got this box for my growing collection, the piece is very attractive and looks great on my dresser top, the auto wind functions work great and I never hear it all. The lining is soft, supple and well applied, the outer wood very nicely done. wasn't sure what to expect, it's not to large and looks great and would highly recommend. Great value.

I think the magnetic problem cause the time delay of my watch. I did research for the magnetic field may causes damage of the mechanic, I am pretty sure my Watch was damaged. Luckily, I found that very soon after 8 hours of use. And i will find the better one for sure.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Finally got on of these and I’m so impressed! It’s very quite and the can hold up to 4 watches. I guess I need to buy more watches haha. Definitely love this and it goes well with our home.
