Crock-Pot 6 Quart Programmable Slow Cooker and Food Warmer Works with Alexa, Stainless Steel (2139005)

I received this as a gift for Christmas 2021 and was never able to get it to connect. No matter what I did it would not connect to Alexa and I was so frustrated. It's a decent crockpot in its own, but I specifically wanted it for the wifi. Finally read a review that mentioned a little reset button on the right side of the front panel, and voila! I know have a connected crockpot. I have posted a picture to make it easier to find if you're having trouble like I did. Looking forward to using my crockpot more often now.

We have had crockpots in our home for over 50 years. This one is the best ever. It's fantastic being able to connect it with Alexa as well. It is great for any meal from appetizers to main dishes to soups. The vent hole in the cover to take the food temperature is great too. You don't have to lift the lid and let out the heat to check on your food. We use it just about every week. There are now just 2 of us but I love being able to spend a few minutes prepping our meal and having the rest of my day not having to worry about it. Wouldn't want to be without it.

I purchased this for my daughter and her husband loves it. She informed me that she would rather have a crock pot that has a searing button which this does not have

So first of all, five stars because it works well, exactly as described...But. The "but" is that this is not just "Alexa enabled", but "Alexa Mandatory" - at least to achieve even basic functionality other cookers have out of the box. The backstory is that I'm a life-long slow cooker user. And slow cooker eater when I was too young to be a user. I'm also firmly embedded in the Alexa-sphere, with Echo Dots and Fire TV cubes scattered all over my house, Alexa app on all our phones, and even Alexa in my truck. So when need arose to purchase a new slow cooker I thought some Alexa connectivity would be useful. And it is. However, rather than simply being Alexa augmented, even basic functionality is Alexa required. For example, here's what you can do WITHOUT Alexa: Turn it on. Set the heat for High, Low, Warm. That's it. (No timer or any other settings) And Here's what you see looking at the cooker, without using Alexa: Whether it's on or off. Whether it's connected to wifi. And if the heat setting is High, Low, Warm. (Not how much time is left, or any other information) So in the process of adding Alexa to the mix, they decided to remove normal functionality. I didn't expect that. Perhaps I could have paid more attention to the description or reviews, but I didn't. So I figured I'd post this review in warning to anyone else that may think this is a normal crockpot, just with Alexa added. It isn't. If for any reason you don't wish, or can't use Alexa with this cooker, you will be sorely hindered and inconvenienced.

This Crockpot is terrible. It does not connect to WiFi. The QR code in the back of crockpot is not recognizable when scanned. The other connection option is to turn on crockpot and when indicator is flashing red and green it should connect. It does not! I did not get any help online or through customer service. The Seller was also not helpful. Would not honor the return as it was more than 30 days ago. I purchased at the end of October for a Christmas gift. It has not been out of the box until now. Also, this was purchased for someone who is blind. The WiFi feature is supposed to work with Amazon Alexa which is why this was purchased. Such an expensive disappointment. I wasted $150 on a gift that didn’t work and cannot get a refund!! And lastly Amazon’s A-Z guarantee is worthless! As Amazon would also not authorize the return. Seriously, reconsidering any future purchasing through this platform.

Growing up, I never would've thought I'd be telling a "robot" to cook, and keep warm my food while I'm off making the best of life. Gone are the days of, "I gotta go home to check the roast!!!" Chef de partie Alexa will cook, and keep warm your food option for the day. Crockpot just needs to add a liquid meter so it doesn't burn or dry out your food and it would get 7 stars. Something about cameras and high extended heat probably don't mix well. Crockpot and Alexa cooked us a BBQ Chicken dinner for about 6 hours from frozen and did a miraculous job. We didn't need tech support as there is only 2 buttons to press, it's super simple to start up and no "CrockPot app" to download, just find it on the Alexa app under "discover new devices." You're "Off to the Dining Table!!!"

Out with the old in withe new. I got this because my old Crock Pot was dying via the thermostat in it and purchased this and its awesome. It heats well, alexa setting is awesome, very easy to use, love how simplistic and sleek it is and seems to perfom very well.

I bought this crockpot to replace an older one and it is useless. It will not connect to the Alexa app I have tried with multiple phones and my tablet and it doesn’t work. I have followed all the instructions and even tried all the recommendations in the reviews and still it won’t connect. Now when I try to return it I have to pay to send it back which is actually more than I paid to purchase it. DON”T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

J'ai commandé cette mijoteuse, et lorsque je l'ai reçu je l'ai branché mais Alexa est incapable de la reconnaître donc inutilisable. J'ai tout essayé mais je crois que la version Française d'Alexa ne prend pas en charge les autocuiseurs. Aucun choix dans la liste des appareil et aucune détection possible.

Will be returning, won't connect to Alexa Doesn't connect to anything, absolute garbage and now they've removed Android services.

Not programmable without the app and the app is not available anymore.
