Gwenie's Pastries, Mongo Hopia (1 Pack/5 pieces per pack) Consume within 5 days or refrigerate

I loved the flavors of these desserts. It is just like home. I tasted both piyaya and mongo hopia right away and boy I can’t stop eating more. The only downside was that I received the box with only one pack of hopia when I ordered two packs. I contacted the seller and they replied promptly telling me that the missing pack will be delivered to me soon. Other than that, excellent product that satisfy cravings.

Gwenies pastry always arrives in a timely manner and is a must for Fresh Pastry that comes in the mail.The products are always fresh>the ingredients are sweetened just right....NOT TOO SWEETThere was once an error on one order with the count and they immediately corrected the problem >within 3 days I received a replacement.

But $12.00 per item and $12.00 shipping OUCH!

I would wait and go to Chinatown, it’s just not good enough for the price, I admit it does taste better than the top competitor on line, (but not much, I am a hopia expert lol, I was disappointed with this product to bready and not much taste, a tab better than the competitor ( I won’t mention any names)Your better off buying something from a local bakery, it won’t be hopia, but you then won’t be disappointed, save your money for the real stuff

Was craving real Pinoy hopia and this hit the spot. Flavor was good, wished there was more mongo to go better with the rather thick pastry part. Overall, it was good though. The one drawback is the packaging. USPS crushed the box, despite fragile and perishable markings. Not the sellers fault, however the product was not cushioned in the box. If it was, it may have survived and arrived in better condition. Sadly a container was cracked and all look like they’ve been shook around. And with the flaky texture, some crumbled.

So Delicious! Thanks to Amazon, those of us who live far away from Rockville MD, can enjoy Gwenie's Pastries Made-From-Scratch Hopia -- @gweniespastries #gweniespastries @kuyaja #kuyaja -- The hopia are fresh, flaky, substantial, and not too sweet - perfect for merienda time. Worth ordering again!
