My son asked me to thank whoever made this blanket because it is comfortable and comforting. For adults, this weighted blanket also makes a good lap blanket. In the cooler weather, this blanket definitely adds warmth. This is the first time that my family has tried a weighted blanket, and we are all sold on the idea. I suspect that more of these will be in our future. Did I mention how soft this blanket is? Oh, yeah!

my youngest daughter is special needs and this blanket has been a life saver. I watched her unfortunately one night while in the emergency department twitch uncontrollably because we didnt have her blanket with us. With this blanket she is able to sleep more soundly and for longer periods of time and it does comfort her and calm her down. Ps. my daughter is non verbal and is blind so knowing this comforts her (or that we can see it) is the best thing in the world!!!!

The blanket is a great size, perfect for my 16 yr old daughter but it’s big enough that it would easily work for an adult too.When you pick it up you can feel the weight of it immediately.The fabric itself is kind of a minky feel, very soft and feels comforting on the skin.The color we chose (blue one) is a lovely shade of blue with grey on the underside of it.My daughter said it feels like someone is giving her a hug when she uses it :) and that it has helped her to relax and feel more comfortable.

Our son is a restless sleeper. I never thought of using something like this with him until our friends mentioned they use it for their kids. Similar to swaddling a young baby, it's a reassuring thing to have a heavier blanket on him. This blanket is just right- heavy, warm but not overly hot.

Both of my kids have blankets that they could not sleep without. This hasn't completely replaced their blankies, but they like it a lot. It does seem to help them sleep better at night. They love the softness and the textured side is great for rubbing your fingers over. Definitely a good buy for the little ones that love to snuggle. It's cut down on the need for them wanting to sleep with mama and daddy. Which is really the main reason we wanted it and it's done its job.
