15V USB-C Charging Cord for Surface, Compatible with Microsoft Surface Pro 7/6/5/4/3, Surface Laptop 3/2/1, Surface Go, Surface Book, 6FT

To be brief, my original Surface Pro 4 charger stopped working, whenever I attach it, the light blink for a second and dies.After finding that new charger costs around US$100 locally (outside US), I opted to try my luck and buy this cable, I use it with Anker PowerPort Atom III Slim (Four Ports) (which organized my desk instead of having 3 chargers attached separately), and it didn't disappoint, nothing to note as positives or negatives, it is just a cable, either it works or doesn't, and in my case it works as described.

if your surface device isn't charging with this cable it means your power output is not equal to or exceeds the required power input. do not use a power bank with 5V output, device will not charge with this cable. attached is the image of the power bank i've chosen with a dc to usb-c converter. do not use a usb to usb-c adapter as the usb ports output are 5V. you have to use the dc out of the device and switch to 12V, 16V or 20V output. there's no 15V setting. the other model i will get is with an AC outlet.

Not the highest quality cable, but it does work. Seems cheaply made, but it is functioning as described.

I wish they would indicate that the cable does not transfer data. It is just for charging. Should I have read that, I would not have purchased it. As far as the cable for charging, it works ok. Therefore, my criticism is not advising that the cable does not transfer any data or video, and if you want it to connect to a docking station, it will not work, not even to use a mouse and keyboard through your docking station.

This worked out perfect, my surface pro 4 was dying quickly when I was on the road and I need a portable supply, I matched this cable with a 60w rav battery pack and to my surprise it works perfect. I have no issues and can now use my surface pro4 even when the battery is almost dead. Great product and looks like it will last.

This does not work. Plugged in to my surface laptop and it does not charge... I have bought his before and it worked but this one did not.

I used this cord twice in 6 weeks and it longer works . Cannot replace because return window closed . Do not purchase .

I purchased several USB-C/Surface charging cables for my new Pro. I wanted to have several to choose from. This one is the best of the batch. Others sometimes had to be fiddled with in order to make a charging connection. This one worked every time - no fiddling required. Great cable. I only wish it had a braided covering.
