I used these on my 5 month old kitten, who loves to scratch my furniture. Other than him being temporarily upset by me clipping his claws these worked out fine. About 5 minutes after applying the caps he was playing and didn't seem to even notice they were on. No issues with the glue burning his skin, or ripping out the nail. In my opinion I think too much glue is being applied and that is what is causing these issues, 2 drops of glue and squeezing the cap to evenly distribute the adhesive were enough to securely attach them to the nail. Also make sure you have the correct size, they're not meant to be attached to the quick or fleshy part on the claw which can be painful to the animal. I plan on buying more of these in the future as they have helped protect my furniture and my kitty isn't bothered by them.

Ordered a size large. Great alternative to declawing.
I ordered the Large size of this product and I have no complaints. My cat has been wearing them for a week and he did not complain when I put them on and he did not show a difference when walking with them for the first time. I put them on his front paws only, to stop him from scratching on furniture.I clipped his nails down prior to attaching the cap. The packet comes with a tip to attach to the top of the glue which made it easy for me to apply the glue to the cap with out mess. This was a first time try using these as a way to keep him from damaging our new furniture. Since I did not apply to the back I have more for the next time. I will reorder in the future but a larger quantity.

They were easy to apply and they've been on for a month ...
These have worked really well! My elderly cat doesn't retract her claws anymore, and putting these on helped protect my lap and my furniture! They were easy to apply and they've been on for a month and she has not pulled them off.

Doesn't work, doesn't release, cats claws come though, product should be banned
This product doesn't work. I've been using a particular brand of claw covers for years but I bought these on a whim because they were mad cheap. Easier to deal with when putting on - more flexible, can clearly see glue going in, and more rubbery when they attach (my cat doesn't make that clicking sound when walking across hardwoods). But boy were they trouble. Within hours, my cats claws started coming through the actual tips of these while the claw cover was still attached. It's been a week and a half since I applied these, every single one of them are still on all ten of my cats claws, and on 8 out of 10 my cats claws are sticking out of the end. If they don't disengage through the normal shedding/claw sheathing process in the next few days, I'm going to need to go to the vet to have them removed. This product should be banned from Amazon.

good eyesight, and an extremely well behaved cat
In order to get these on correctly, you need a really steady hand, good eyesight, and an extremely well behaved cat. If you miss when trying to stick one of these on your cat's claw, the super glue will get stuck to your cat's fur and cause a pretty big problem. It's a great idea, I guess, but an easier solution is just to cut the claws on a weekly basis instead.

Should have started using these a few years ago
My cat hates getting her nails trimmed & is very gentle for the most part. When she sharpens her nails they're like ninja weaponry. lol Anyway, a friend comes over to trim while I hold her & we apply the nail caps. They stay on for quite some time so even if she scratches, my skin isn't damaged. They are rounded at the tips. I only use the caps for the front two paws, center three nails on each

Only our first day... application* review!
So I had to apply these while my lil man was asleep BUT he woke up and was only a little mad at me so this is a win! Easy to apply, instructions, and a little case which I appreciate. You only have to cut the top of the glue A LITTLE. I cut off way too much and it spewed out. Over all, seems to work well! I’ll update with durability! Fingers crossed.

Great Claw Covers!!!!
Great idea but they fell off kitten claws. I am sure they'll work when they are a little bigger.
