This thing is freaking awesome!!!
This is the best little invention ever.. I have had my echo show on the counter and then I tried t It underneath the cabinet but it was just in the way so I found this mount and ordered it and I cannot tell you how freaking awesome this is. It was super easy to mount. I attached it to the side of my cabinet. I the echo is attached to the stand with magnets, and there is a swivel on it so you can turn it from side to side up and down. I have posted pictures showing that. This thing is worth every penny.!!

Perfect mount for me
This wall mount is exactly what I wanted for my echo show 8. It is made really well, with strong magnets that hold very well. Easily mounted to the wall with 2 screws, then just place the base of the echo show 8 on the magnets and plug it in. Simple as that. I wanted a wall mount to keep the echo show off of the counter to avoid spills and such, so I mounted it at eye level just to the left of my stove. Perfect for looking up recipes and watching shows while I'm using the stove.

Sturdy and good quality
My wife wanted the Echo Show placed at eye level. This well-engineered aluminum bracket was a perfect solution. Easy to install. Provides tilt and swivel and is sturdy.

Seriously had to get creative, but mostly works
I got it to work. The stand is a nice quality and matte silver color. There are 2 holes to run the electric and hold the cord. It comes with anchors & screws for mounting, but I did use 1 heavy duty anchor since I intend to rotate the device and did not want it to pull out if someone leaned on it. I used a 1/4"' drill bit for the anchors. To properly flush the screws I had to remove the platform base but be warned the screws for the bottom of the rotating base and the angled arm go into a nut that is recessed but not "fixed" so the nuts can fall out or "spin" making it appear that it won't tighten. If you are aware then you can use something to stay the nut so it will "bite". Once "bit" they tighten nicely. The 6 magnets are held on by 6 tiny flat Philips head screws that "recess" into the magnets. The magnets are strong when they make contact: however without the screws to hold them in place they pull to each-other and won't stay in place. Design wise I wish: 1. The stand had a lip 2. The stand had more predrilled holes to allow reconfiguration of the magnets to fit the recessed part if the device base. Why Amazon likes to make tiny changes to each "generation" in a way that makes holders, mounts, stands useless beyond a specific model is incredibly irresponsible and wasteful. 3. The magnet screws where longer so that you could add L brackets to the front and back to creat a lip to keep the device from slipping. For the time it took me to "redesign" I would have preferred to pay 1/2 price for this but still it is the best option I have found rather than building from scratch. Reason I needed this mount: 1. Echo Show angle is stupid and the reason I needed an adjustable mount rather than a shelf is because the camera points at the ceiling sitting on its own. 2. The stands (I tried 3 previously) all did not point "down" enough for me to get the camera to function at a useful angle. 3. My show on the bottom is a triangle that is only magnetic in the recessed center part of the triangle so all the stands, this one included, have no retaining clip or lip to keep the show from slowly sliding off until the whole thing ends up falling off the stand. With this stand it almost took a 5 ft drop after 10 minutes. I caught it because I was "testing" the mount by very scientifically staring at it without moving or touching it. To make it work what I did: Removed 3 of the 6 magnets from the top platform. Moved 2 of the magnets (screwed in) to under the platform to add more "magnetism" I then place the device on the 2 front magnets on top of the platform directly to the 180 of the triangle (front of device) and push the device until the magnets are flush but under the "lip" of the device. I then "twist" the position of the back side of the device until the 1 back magnet "nests" into the recess in the back side of the device. The device is now seated on the platform. Yes the monitor is at a slight angle, but I have the field of view I want for the camera/live view. I recommend if you can find an out of the box ready alternative.

Magnets are strong
Before I got this, my Echo Show 8 (1st Gen) was on top of my printer. I had no clue the bottom of the echo had a magnet. I thought people were placing those small magnets with glue or something. Surprisingly it just sticks to the bottom which was really cool. I only had to tilt it at a slight angle from that height but I'm not worried about it falling. I like that you can rotate it to the side like I did or have it aimed facing you if that's where you want it. I had read reviews about the included drywall anchors not working well so I bought some that you only need a screwdriver to install. I also used the included screws with the new anchors. They do come with their own but the screws that came with this looked stronger. The mount isn't going anywhere now so I was happy with that purchase too. Even though it was expensive for a small mount, it works very well so I'm happy with the purchase. It was also quick to install. Took me all of 5 minutes. Now I have more space on my desk.

Keep in touch with loved ones in a nursing home.
My Mother's last 4 months were spent in a nursing home and this device proved invaluable to be able to talk to her everyday. After several strokes, she had no hand/eye coordination to answer or use her cell phone. This Echo device has a drop in feature that allowed us to talk face to face with her from another state. She didn't need to do anything to receive a call. She loved talking on it especially seeing us on the screen. We mounted it on the wall so it was close to her head and she still had her privacy. If you have a family member in a nursing home, or even an elderly relative living alone, this is a great device to keep in touch or even just to check in to make sure they are safe. All you need is to do is set up an Amazon account and connect over wifi. It cost nothing to operate if there is wifi installed at your family members nursing home.

Excellent Wall Mount for my Echo Show 8
I was looking for a product that would allow me to utilize an Echo Show in my home office without taking up any desk space and I found it! This product is sturdy and mounts to the wall with 3 screws. The Echo Show is held to the the mount by strong magnets. The bracket rotates to allow the Show to be positioned to face any angle away from the wall. The shelf with the magnets that hold the Show rotates up and down enough to allow the screen to be tilted from just about the same angle when sitting on a desk to just slightly past vertical. It even has a hole in the bracket for the power cord to be routed through to keep things tidy. My one idea on improvement would be to allow the screen to be tilted down a little more since in my case the Show is mounted above head level.

I modernized this old phone niche and this mount worked perfectly for that. This is a nice sturdy mount. I love that it magnetically mounts the Echo so if you would like to move it to a different location it’s quick to just grab it and go. The magnetic mount is strong enough that I never fear of it becoming dislodged while using it.

Me gusta que se puede mover en muchas direcciones

Below expectation! and expensive for such product! Also its not fully metal! The stand is white plastic and in the product photo doesn’t show that!

This is the perfect solution for a small kitchen with limited counter space, and with this mount I find Alexa can hear voice commands better (plus, it's easier to see the screen when cooking). It seems well made, which justifies the $40 price tag. Like another reviewer, I added an L-bracket (4x6") so it could be mounted under the cupboards, rather than directly to the wall.

Excellent quality and was easily mounted on the wall. Sturdy with a strong magnetic hold. A bit pricey for a bracket, but worth it. Highly recommend.
