Great for fetch as alternate to tug, although tug if fun too.

Excellent build quality - tough thick material that's survived LOT of dedicated chewing. Doesn't get soggy even after repeated dog sessions. Not too tough and not too soft. Hasn't come apart even after many games of tug of war. Very functional as a toy to get energy and mouthiness / chewiness out. Fun colors. Excellent value for money.

My dog wants to tug this from the end, not the middle. The end. We've been through one that he shredded over a year's time, and I bought a cheap replacement that, unknown to me, had stretchy ends. Duh. I've tried to get him to bite the middle and he won't, so I bought another Ruffwear version. He and I are both delighted now! Like all their other products, this one is great.

My English Bull Terrier loved this toy! The only thing negative, it only lasted 3-4 months. But, that may be the best you can expect from a toy when it's an EBT chewing.

Now I know that I have a large and very strong dog… Actually a 75 pound, seven month old Irish Wolfhounds puppy. But this is ridiculous… Our sweet Henry destroyed this toy within 30 minutes. The manufacturer needs to step up its game. How about this?…..start sending me products and I’ll test them out with my Irish Wolfhounds and then we’ll see how tough your toys really are. If you have a strong dog or puppy, this is not the manufacturer or product for you.

I had hoped that this toy would last a while… however my 4 month old pit mix tore it apart in a matter of minutes. It looks like Benabones are all she gets!

My golden loves this toy. We use it in the ocean for fetch and in the house for tug of war. It is very durable and he is insanely strong. Highly recommend

My dogs prefer to grab the handles to play tug and they don't hold up as well as the material in the center might. Less agressive chewers might do ok.
