I recently went for a week away in Cornwall fishing on our boat and bought a couple of packs of these lures. They look superb and even feel like a fish when wet! They swim extremely well and are a good weight for casting a good way or jigging up and down. However....After a week of use on and off I had four bites on this lure (Pollack) and the fish got off within a few seconds. I switched between these and the usual sidewinders and I hooked every fish on the sidewinder but nothing on this. I really want to love these as they look great but I'm not convinced the body collapses to set the hook. These lures did cope better in weed but I did lose a couple of them.

Very well made lures that look the business, I cannot try them at the moment but will do another review after I try them.Pleased with the item and will purchase more from this seller.

Great lure

These are good for going after larger fish in Kelly areas. You can simply pull it through any weed it encounters. It is pretty big and heavy though, so make sure your line is up to the job of casting this without danger of crack offs and lost lures.

Tested this lure in a very weedy harbour. First used a standard sand-eel lure which snagged and was lost almost on first cast. Then switched to this lure and cast into same area. No snags whatsoever. There is good weight with this lure, so no over-runs of line. The pattern and build is of goof quality. Ideal for pollack or sea bass spinning.
