Be careful about these products. They only have a 2 year shelf life. These (I bought in April, its July) I'm just realizing were dated for 2005. They will not seal properly if out of date.

Use on all my aluminum projects

Was worried about previous reviews, where people said they ordered the 12 pack and only got 1 tube. I ordered the 12 pack and got 12 tubes.

It's a great sealant, we use this almost exclusively in the shop, cheaper than Honda bond and I've never had anything come back leaking that I've used it on and it's been used on hundreds of engines, differential covers and an occasional transmission pan. The tube gets used at least every 2 days so we never even tape up the end, just pull the dried up plug out the end of the tube and pump it onto whatever needs some sealant, leave a glob hanging out the end of the cone for the next time.

Use this stuff all the time sealing some steel enclosures to a concrete surface. Tested it in our warehouse before using. Totally waterproof seal.

There are supposedly 12 tubes of 3.5oz but only one tube came with a sticker saying “pack of 12”. Very shady and dishonest. Permatex ultra grey is awesome but paying for 12 and only getting 1 is very disappointing from this company.
