These are great!
UPDATE: After refusing to use these for 2.5 days, my birds finally ventured in and resumed eating. I ended up installing perches below each of them in order to make it easier for my birds to get in and out of the seed cups. In five days, I saved 6 cups of seed that was formerly wasted when the birds scattered most of it around the cage and the surrounding floor. These seed cups will pay for themselves in no time! In five days, there has been no wasted seed and no mess on the floor. I highly recommend these for bird owners whose birds are habitually scatter their seeds out of conventional open seed cups!I received two of these this week! They were of high quality construction and came fully assembled. I have two conjures: A Sun conjure and a Green Cheek conjure; they share a large parrot cage. Both of my birds routinely waste literally 95% of their daily food by aggressively sweeping most it out of the open cups I had been using for their food. I installed two of these seed cups to not only cut down on the sheer waste of food, which is expensive, but also minimize the terrible mess that these two lovely birds make on the floor surrounding their cage as well as the bottom of the cage. These feeders fit my cage perfectly! The problem? My birds have so far refused to use them. They spent the first day screaming at me for food and wouldn't approach these seed enclosures to save their lives. Being a child of the eighties who grew up with strict parents, my thought was "well, when they get hungry enough, they'll access these seed enclosures in order to eat." It's been an entire day and my birds haven't eaten a single seed yet! I'm going to give it another day before I decide whether or not to re-install the old open seed cups. Conjures are smart birds. These feeders are very easy for them to access. They simply refuse to do it. I'll update this review in the next 72 hours.

Excellent feeder
Absolutely love this feeder. I no longer have a mess on the floor and it’s very easy to clean and setup. Also it allow my cockatiel to easy sit and view outside the cage. The only negative thing about the feeder is the metal perch inside. The metal material appears to be like a nail file. This is bad for my bird feet; it causes bumble feet. To avoid this, I wrapped the perch with string material.

Really does keep in the seed. No seed net required.
I have a messy little cockatiel, and when I say messy I mean messy. I bought this little contraption and a seed guard net so that I could keep him in our living room where he could be seen. I had anticipated constant clean up, but I can literally go weeks without worrying about his little seed hulls bein everywhere. I didn't even end up using the seed guard net because this worked so well, which is so much better on the eyes. He did take about a week to take to it, so I had to put him inside, but now he loves it. Very glad I have this little doohickey to cut my bird cleanup in less than half.

Great but needs a design adjustment. -Cockatiels-
I've been using this for a little while now and it's been okay! As far as messes go I still have ness coming from my cockatiels, they drag the seed shells with their feed outside the feeder and drop it onto the floor still. It's difficult to maintain sometimes because when the seed shells pile up inside my cockatiels drag it out since you have to clean it out often to prevent it. I was thinking there could be a design where the seed shells could fall out from under where the metal poll is and you are able to attach a small bag to catch it all then dispose of it for an easy clean and less mess. My other issue was attaching it to the cage. My dad had to cut the metal hooks and curve them so they fit right. As for my cockatiels themselves, I've had no issues with injury. They fit great in it, just wish you could add more food in there to last them a while.

Perfect.
Totally impressed with this little bird feeder. I'm raising a baby sparrow that was abandoned and she just loves it. Before, she would make a big mess by flipping the seeds everywhere with her beak but now they stay within the bird feeder so nicely. Very well made and easy to put seeds in and clean out. Also easy to pick up and carry around if needed to take on road trips or to move to other parts of the house.

It works!
We are perfectly delighted with this No-Mess Feeder: it works like a charm! Our small red-belly (Poicephalus) parrot likes nothing more than to throw what we call "pitch 'n' b----" fits, tossing seed hither and yon all over the floor, blinds, etc. In 10 seconds or less, we had this feeder installed on the side of her cage, and instantly, miraculously, the problem was solved. She would have to back out of the feeder with the seed in her beak to pitch it. We do need to take it off at night because her cage cover will not go over it, but this is only a minor inconvenience, and merits no loss of stars in our opinion. Sure do wish we could have bought one of these twenty-one years ago, when we bought the bird!

You can only use it over way. Not good
I just got out today. But it seems there's only one way to use it. I don't have that surcoat hole to connect it to my cage. I don't see there are other options on how to use it.

You need a place to insert the hooks!
I really like this feeder box. My bird used to make the biggest mess all over ther floor with seeds, it drove me crazy! He still finds a way to make a mess but it's no where near what it used to be. I highly recommend, however, you absolutely need a space on your cage where you can hang it, otherwise this won't work out for you. It does have two more places in the back where you stick hooks if the 2 it comes with aren't enough.
