VENTS 100mm (4”) Standard Inline Extractor Fan – Quiet Loft-Mounted Ventilation for Bathroom, Shower & Damp Control

Used above a shower to remove steam. Fitted in a loft to replace previous extractor. If you have a large bathroom go for a fan with larger air flow capacity than this one. This has two speed wiring facility, recommend you wire it to maximum capacity. Low noise, great price well made product.

Instructions could be a bit clearer especially for older wiring but went on google and got the wiring colours from old to new and it worked good in the shower room.

Used to cool inverter in a cupboard with pump placed in the loft. Very quite when operating, almost silent. Negative issues: 1. Arrow on case does not show direction of air flow but is simply pointing to a QR code. Only realised when pump was sending air in the wrong direction. 2. Wiring instructions confusing, the unit has 2x lives and 1 neutral which is not shown in the wiring diagram. It shows 5 wires? Seems that if you connect L1 and L2 together, it produces maximum power output. Connect either L or L1 only and it pumps at a slower rate. ( I'm a DIYer not an electrician so maybe its me at fault) Overall, very pleased as it does the job, is very quiet, and the cheapest unit on Amazon.

I had a shower fan in the loft for our ensuite that had failed. This fan is larger. I had the fan fixed to a 2 inch wide beam. Using a length of 3x2 wood I doubled the size of the beam to 4 inches to allow a large enough foot print. Great result Once fitted a lot quieter than the old fan and shifts more air. Nice product nice price

Good quality replacement fan for the one which had stopped working in the loft. Easy to wire up and install, this is the non timer version as there was only a live and neutral. Comes on with the light and goes off when the light is turned off. Seems very silent however it is in-line and installed in the loft.

Its ok , I just don't think it's very powerful ? Maybe in a shower cubicle it might be better ? Small toilet? In a average bathroom with a walk in shower , it's not powerful enough .

Good fan and easy to install. If you are fixing to a rafter I suggest sound insulation between fan and the timber

This is easy to mount, main fan clips off mounting bracket, you can fit bracket and hoses before putting main fan body on. Warning I fitted the fan the wrong way first time, it clearly states flow direction with a big black arrow but there is an equaly big black arrow pointing in the opposite direction pointing at a QR code, pretty big design issue or Eye sight test but thankfully it's a 30 second job to swap it round. Just wonder If the guy that left a star rating saying poor blow power failed the test. Anyway this 150mm fan was a bit loud for me on the fast setting, I could hear a drone from my we'll insulated loft, on low setting it's fine both for noise and blow power. This is being used to cool a Solar power Inverter in my loft that was running at 55 degrees, now connected to a thermostatic plug and ducting pulling air from outside. Works a treat. High power / low power is not switchable its hard wired Ie L1 is low power L2. Is high power, note you could wire a switch to switch between these two points to allow speed control troll but for me wasn't needed. Doesn't come with a mains cable. Running on Low power draws around 33 Watts. 100% would recommend, super powerfull fan.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, dopo varie tentativi ho trovato questo aspiratore che fa il suo lavoro come si deve. Consiglio per chi non vuole spendere tanto e avere la qualità a prezzo convegniente.

Funcionamiento correcto. Ruido lo que se esperaba. Evacua bien los vapores y relativamente bien los olores. Compra recomendable.

Remplacement à l’identique de ma WMC extracteur d’air qui a rendu l’âme au bout de 8 ans.
