Worked really well for a misting system
I use this attached to my laundry faucet in order to add a misting system that went out the window to the kids place set outside. This has been a really awesome choice! I love that I can put it on a timer. I love that I can Manually turn it on and off. It’s worked really well for us! It was also very easy to install. I haven’t had any issues with leaking. Although I have used some plumbers tape to seal off the attachment holes.

For my use..
I have 3 of these that I use almost daily ( during the summer months) to keep my Plants and Grass Green.. They work quite well unless they are left outside to long into the COLD ( my fault ). They are a Good Item. They arrived just in time last year and will come out of storage fairly soon.

Working as expected.
I like these. I bought them for almost all my spigots around the property. I do wish they came with a start time of 5 minutes vs the 15. Also some of them leak when on, out of various parts but hold tight when mechanism shuts off flow. I might try playing around with them so see if it’s a tightening issue, thread, washer, or just overall design. I’ll update if they hold out through winter, a couple I use every day.

Simple and Reliable Water Timer That Just Works
Simple and Reliable Water Timer That Just Works The Orbit 62034 mechanical hose timer has been one of the handiest garden tools I’ve owned. I picked it up years ago and still use it regularly—it’s as straightforward as it gets. No batteries, no programming, no app—just turn the dial like an old-school egg timer and walk away. You can set anywhere from 15 to 120 minutes, and it reliably shuts the water off when time is up. I’ve used it with sprinklers, soaker hoses, and even to fill stock tanks. It’s saved me from countless “oops” moments where I’d forget the water was running and waste hours’ worth. It also has a manual “on” option, so I don’t have to disconnect it when I want the faucet running continuously. A couple of tips from experience: * Don’t leave it baking in direct sun day after day—it’ll last longer if you shade it. * Make sure the washers are in good shape to avoid drips at the connection. * It’s not as precise as digital timers, but for everyday lawn and garden watering, it’s more than accurate enough. For under ten bucks, it has saved me far more than that in water bills. It’s one of those tools that feels like it should be in every garage. Bottom line: A simple, inexpensive, and reliable way to make sure your sprinklers shut off when they should. Perfect for anyone who wants hassle-free watering without batteries or electronics.

Simple, low cost solution
I bought one for my in-laws after I got mine. Works great, super simple and perfect price compared to the expensive WiFi ones I got that broke after a year or two.

Love it!
Great item very easy to set up we love it because we don’t have to stay watering the plants out side on the hot weather. Just set it and forget it! 😆

These work great! If they work.
I got tired of finding half-dead plants because the batteries ran out on my water timers. I found these egg-timer types and they work great! I sometimes have to run them twice a day in summer since I live in AZ, but that's okay. It's better than not watering them at all, and it's better than a $300 water bill because I forget to turn it off. While it's not completely hands-off, that's okay. It's very affordable as well, which is another bonus. Unfortunately, the latest one I bought doesn't work. It does not turn itself off. It worked for about two weeks before it stopped turning off. I can hear it ticking like it's supposed to, but the gears are apparently not connected or something, because it just runs until I have to turn it off manually. I'm pretty disappointed.
