Great extending pruners but so-so saw.
Very pleased with sturdiness yet lightness of the pole, even fully extended. The pruning action is excellent and holding the pole with one arm and pulling the cutting cord with the other I was able to cut cleanly through branches at least 2-3cm thick. The pulley action improves the power of the cut, which is well designed. The saw is rather flimsy and not so easy to use if the pole is extended but it is sharp and does cut thicker branches with a bit of trial and error.Overall a very good tool and glad I bought it.

Works well for my needs
The trimmer is light and easy to use, It hooks over the branch that needs cutting and then just pull the string, the branches arn’t more than 15mm in diameter so don’t know how it works on anything thicker, I haven’t used the saw so don’t know how good it is

Good tree pruner
The product is really good for the price. This is great for domestic tree pruning. It probably wouldn't be good for commercial use. The pole is sturdier than I thought it would be and the optional saw attachment is a nice bonus.

Brilliant! The best garden tool I have ever purchased.
Superb! Great cutting pruner and very easy to use. Easy to hold and cut and reaches really high up. Have been unable to reach the tops of my hedge and a tree and not too keen on using ladders. Anyone with elderly parents who enjoy gardening should invest in this product for them so save them climbing ladders! Not had chance to use the saw attachment yet but if it works as well as the pruners I am more than happy

Useful, extendable gardening tool.
I bought this as we had a sizeable branch hanging over into the neighbour's garden. Found it difficult to saw into the branch but, happily, the secateurs cut straight into it - problem solved. It's very handy, good quality, and arrived quite quickly. I gave it 4 stars for ease of use because of my inability to work the blade: I am sure others might not have that problem. I recommend. Good value.

Some design faults
I was going to give this 5 stars. It worked so well, cut brilliantly, was easy to use, neat, sturdy yet not too heavy, and had a good reach. It did a marvellous job trimming my apple tree, and some Hazels. Then I thought....use it a few times before you leave a review!I saw the downsides today after using it 3 times. One: the bolt and nut which held the head to the shaft came loose. I was fortunate not to lose the bolt. I thought -no problem, I'll put a nut on it . Nope. The nuts I had in my little box of tricks didn't match the thread of the bolt, even though they measured the same diameter. Tried 2 wing nuts separately, though I didn't want to use wing nuts. Same story. That took an hour.Next trick...which I am saving for tomorrow, is to replace with my own nut and bolt and we'll see how that goes. But I know not everybody who buys this has bits and pieces like that hanging around. I always collect 'useful things' for when they might be needed. It would be a nuisance to have to go to B&Q and buy a pack of 50 or so steel nuts (when you only really need one or two) for what.....£8 or something? just to find that you had to go back and buy a pack of 100 matching bolts too because the threads didn't match the one on the trimmer !This annoyed me slightly, as I shouldn't have to be doing repair jobs to a tool I only bought 24 hours ago! And it has been used correctly.I then thought I would give it 4 stars because of that fault. But then guess what? The extension on the shaft (which had worked perfectly the first 2 or 3 times) suddenly decided not to shorten any more. I tried everything I could to shorten it plus muscles. Then I ran one part in cold water to hopefully shrink it, thinking the heat might have expanded the metal. Nothing.I tried again when it had sat in a cooler place ....but nothing again. I was stuck with this long pole and nowhere to store it at that length. My shed ceiling isn't that high, and neither is the length of my shed. The under-stairs cupboard refused to give it sanctuary. I was well stuck for anywhere to put it where it wouldn't be tripped over.I had to take it to the guest bedroom and just lie it flat on the floor, and I presume that's where it will have to live for the remainder of its life.So...nice tool in a way, and a bloody absolute nuisance in another way. I am giving it 3 stars.

Saw Blade too Flexy
Having now used the tool, I found the cutter lopper satisfactory for smaller branches, but the saw blade was too flexy and was difficult to cut any larger branches satisfactorily as it is not stiff enough.

Very easy to use
I am a 77 year old female and after reading very good reviews a out this product decided to give it a try. Even better than expected light enough for me to manage easily height adjustable and great cutting mechanism plus a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.
