Great Product!!
A little background...I'm a competitive cyclist who is on a calorie-restricted diet to lose fat prior to the racing season. I was getting lots of nutrition in the form of fruit and vegetable smoothies (primarily strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, bananas and spinach) but I didn't feel like I was getting enough protein in my diet because between the smoothies and a salad with a moderate amount of chicken on it for lunch, I was not getting the recommended 120+ grams of protein for someone with my profile. I figured supplementation with a no-nonsense protein powder was the way to go. I looked at a bunch of nutrition information and ingredients. It's amazing how many carbohydrates, saturated fat grams, and even cholesterol are in some of these protein drinks. This one has none of that. If you figure out the calories, each scoop is 95% protein calories with none of that bad stuff. They even use Stevia (IMO one of the better sweeteners health-wise) to sweeten things. I ordered the chocolate to have aside from my smoothies and I ordered the vanilla to have mixed in with my fruit/veggie smoothies (I already use Vanilla yogurt in them with Vanilla Almond Milk). I first tried the recipe for a chocolate, banana and peanut butter smoothie after a training race. Mmmm, mmm good. 1 Banana, 1 cup of vanilla almond milk, 1 tbsp of peanut butter and a scoop of the Bluebonnet Chocolate Whey Protein powder. Really good. Dump the peanut butter and you save 100 calories, but I like peanut butter and chocolate, what can I say? Whey Protein Isolate French Vanilla - 2 lbs - Powder

I like this best of all the whey powders I've tried
I bought this at Whole Foods for years, but they stopped carrying it a couple of years ago. Glad I found it on amazon. I put ice, lots of fruit and berries, and fruit juice with it in the blender, and ahhhh! very refreshing! All whey powders have a bit of a funny taste, and they also change the texture of the smoothie somewhat, but I've grown accustomed to that, and it does not bother me. The Mixed Berry Flavor makes the whey taste very palatable. If I don't have access to a blender, I find the best thing to mix this in is OJ.

Best taste I've tried so far
Let me start off by saying that besides the great benefits this protein powder has and what it's made of, I have NEVER found a good tasting protein powder until now! I'm even taking the time to write a review. I am the most picky yucky person when it comes to strange and disgusting tastes. This has been by far the best shake I've tried. It's not granny, its not too thick or too watery. It's thinner in consistency than others that I've tried but the taste of it makes everything else not matter.

Hmmmm good not great taste
The powder mixes well and provides a good quick protein source. But the taste is OK. Has a little artificial taste to it.

Great flavor, easy to mix
My trainer recommended whey isolate powder, and I was skeptical of the taste. After reading hundreds of reviews from this product and others, I settled on Bluebonnet and couldn't be happier. It doesn't have the smell other protein powders have, it tastes very chocolate-y and it blends down really easily. I like to mix mine with almond milk and two tablespoons of PB2 (also known as peanut flour). It's a great treat after the gym. The smaller container goes quickly, so if you drink shakes daily I recommend splurging on the larger option.

I have tried a number of protein supplements this one is by far my favorite. Note this review is specifically for the Chocolate flavor, the vanilla one doesn't share my enthusiasm. 1. Dissolves really easily. Doesn't feel chalky, blends very smoothly. 2. Good taste. 3. No added sugar. 5. Adequate in terms of nutrition provided. My fav recipe is to blend this with milk, ice, peanut butter powder and a banana. Makes an awesome smoothie.

Good tasting, high quality.
As they say in Spanish, this one tastes muy good. I can taste sugar substitutes (stevia) no matter what… except in this shake mix, which is impressive. Best with coconut milk if you ask me. I wish for banana flavor.

Mixed berry flavor
I am a regular buyer of the bluebonnet whey protein brand in mixed Berry flavor for the past 5 + years now. I got the two lb shipped last week. There was something wrong which I figured as soon as I opened it. There was a pungent smell which I have detected twice in the past and the powder was very fine texture but very tiny granules. This is not what it should normally be like. It tastes too sweet as well. I am tired of returning things. Why can’t Amazon get this right? Especially given that I have ordered this product so many times over?
