One of the greatest condiments since black pepper! Anything you want to add salt to, along with some "zip" use this. GPS wakes up the flavor of just about everything! Soups, stews, vegetables, eggs, etc.,etc.! The sea salt is very salty and the heat added is pretty concentrated as well...so you don't have to use very much of it. A little goes a long way. Which is good as it's somewhat pricey, but worth every penny! Doesn't really change the favor of the dish, just adds saltiness and heat. Whatever flavor there may be is very subtle and pure. Take a can of lightly salted (or unsalted) peanuts and dump some of the GPS in and shake it up. Makes an awesome spicy snack that's perfect with a cold beer.Their Black Lava salt is also a great product! The cool thing is that you can see it on light colored foods, so you can be very precise about the amount of salt you add. Not quite as salty as regular salt with a very subtle flavor of... not sure. Smokey perhaps. Anyway, another great product. Guests love the novelty of salt that looks like pepper. Beautiful stuff that adds wonderful flavor with valuable function as a bonus.

I've been using ghost pepper salt for years now and have always gotten it from a local yearly craft fair called Candy Dance. Since I ran out early, I checked Amazon for a replacement. I bought this one and am really enjoying it. It's fruitier than the one I normally use, but really good. It is spicier than my normal one, which I love!! It's good on all kinds of foods, but my favorite is putting it on popcorn. I pop it on the stovetop and then apply ghost pepper salt while it's still warm. YUM! I only ordered the jar this time, but will be ordering the bigger package when I run out. I highly recommend this salt.

This stuff is great!! I can steam some veggies and add this salt and I don't need any other flavorings, not even butter! It's great on popcorn and anything else you'd like to zest up. I've never used it in cooking, only adding after the fact, so I don't know if it would do well. It might be hard to judge how much to use. It's delicious and I've never found it anywhere else.

I didn't try this myself as I have an aversion to things that are too spicy, but I bought it as a gift for my brother, who loves his food hot and salty. He said that this fit the bill: salty (no kidding!) with a bit of heat in the back of his throat. I gave it to him at a brunch and he used it on just about everything on his plate then said it was mighty tasty on eggs.

I felt it was very good but not great. I recently purchased a similar product from The Spice and Tea Exchange in Tarpon Springs, FL. Their product has a fresher taste and smell.If you're a heat freak like me don't be misled by "Hot! Hot!". More of a medium heat but the flavor is good.I will place another order simply to determine if I was unlucky and received a package which had been sitting around a while.UPDATE: My second order was perfect. Brett took a personal intrest to make certain I was completely happy. Still not as hot as I would like, but I will order again.

My parents got me addicted to this salt, and now I can't quit. I've brought it with me on vacation. What makes this ghost pepper salt so different? I'm not sure, but the ghost pepper is perfectly balanced, and it really adds to whatever I'm eating. The shaker is nice to have but a bit pricey -- no regrets on buying it as its great for a gift, but you can refill any coarse (large-holed) shaker with the larger 1lb bag which is better value. Recommended!

I purchased two of these salts. One to keep and one as a gift. I received the shipment on a Saturday and there was a small problem with my order. I contacted the Spice Lab directly and they responded back that same day (on a Saturday). They were very professional and corrected the issue immediately. Thank you!! I WILL be ordering again!!On to the product.. it is amazing! As described.. VERY HOT! Two or three granules shared with my mother in law.. she was in tears. I love heat so I was very happy with the product. Highly recommended!!
