It was delivered. I immediately opened it and used it on my upper lip, which was the plan all along. I don’t know what’s going on with these negative reviews but literally there is no hair left on my lip and it is so smooth. It was so easy to use and only minorly uncomfortable. I mean, you are pulling the hair out by the root here. You’re not gonna feel nothing. I’m super happy.

Okay so I never write reviews, and yet I rely exclusively on reviews when deciding to buy a product or not. I held out on buying this item for close to a year because of its many negative reviews. Finally I caved and decided to give it try and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!Getting all the way honest here, I'm a female in my twenties and I have the unfortunate curse of battling a mustache since my early teens. I've always stayed on top of it with waxing, plucking and of course my trusty flawless but it's still very much my biggest insecurity.When I first heard of epilators, I immediately wanted to try one but it seemed like none of them are actually made to be used on your face. Except for this cheap Remington one with the not so great reviews..So I finally order it and give it a try. OMG you guys, it works!! It gets all those nasty hairs and maybe I'm just used to ripping the hair out already but it doesnt even hurt, it actually feels kinda like acupuncture in a way. The secret is finding the best angle and position while holding it on your skin. It says to hold skin tight and use the epilator in circular motions, I do that, I also go straight across, up and down, I hold it backwards, I use it in every single possible position until my upper lip is completely smooth and clear.I definitely recommend exfoliating before use to get all the dead skin out of the way so no hairs are blocked. And this is important.. when you're done, clean the the tweezers part with rubbing alcohol or witch's hazel or whatever you prefer, but make sure you clean it after every use or else it will spread bacteria and break you out bad!!So yes I recommend this product if you are cursed like me. It takes some getting used to before you get it down perfect, but you will achieve perfect results with the very first use, it's just gonna require some extra passes till you get it down.

This little epilator has many great qualities! I have a slightly larger plug in epilator by Phillips, but I wanted to get one that was a bit smaller for small areas on my face. I only gave 4 stars because there are a few things that could be improved. But the positives outweigh the negatives for sure. First, I will tell you the positives:Pros:Great for small areas like chin and upper lip.Small and battery powered, so easy to travel with.Easy to use, lightweightDoes what it's made for!Great for women who struggle with facial hair (like me), especially for PCOS/hormonal issues that cause excess hair growth. I don't have those, I'm just hairy!Works much better than a razor -- Razors always leave coarse hair under the skin that is noticeable. I also got to a point where I kept getting ingrown hairs from shaving. I highly recommend this if you have that problem. It leaves your skin feeling smooth. That's important!Cons:(obviously) It hurts a little on sensitive parts. This is expected, I just want to be thorough.I had to take the part that covers the sides off because it wasn't effectively reaching the areas I needed it to.It only "cuts" a few hairs and I have to go back over it with tweezers. Again, this is expected. It's only a few hairs. Much better than plucking all of them!It's also important to note that I have to use it "pink side/on button up" for it to work. That may be the way my hair grows.It lags a bit if you push too hard.In conclusion, this is a great price for what you get! If you are new to epilating, this is a great starter point. If you are on the fence, get it! For only $13, it's a steal.

I bought this product twice. It worked well for me, but I tried it on my partner, and it broke cause his whiskers were too thick so its not for thick hair. The second time it broke the on/off switch came completely off for no reason at all so I hope with the price hike that the switch issue has been resolved. Other than that I would buy again, and I paid 12.99 both times last year.

I have been using this for 3 weeks now. I have used many other hair removal treatments including laser hair removal. The laser permanently removed about half of the hair but the remaining half kept growing back. When one system quit being effective I would switch to another. Most recently I have been waxing. This caused a lot of irritation and I would get breakouts. I got this unit because the waxing became ineffective and I found myself plucking out the hair that the wax wouldn't remove. The first time I used this I hadn't waxed in some time so it was painful. Now I do regular use every other day and I love it! It takes some getting use to when it comes to the angle you need to be at for it to work. Everyone's hair grows differently in all parts of your face. I have to go against the hair growth and use no pressure. Plucks everything right out! Yes it stings but I have no skin trauma or rashes anymore. This is a great unit for the money and I will but it again and again!
