Good, Very New Age-y/Spiritual feel-good type of Western Astrology though. Good for serious questions.
I really like these Pokemon-looking cards. They're vibrant and I feel that helps me tap more into my 'right brained' side.I'm a professional astrologer. I've done 2 readings and they were spot on. I meditated on the questions for a moment as I shuffled and focused.2 readings in with spot on accuracy explaining situations completely accurately, but this isn't just practicing astrology but also you using your spiritual side. Being a traditional astrologer I usually separate the two, but this gives me the power to give guidance along with my definite/fatalistic type of readings so there's a nice balance for people that need more security in readings. Sometimes the sentences don't make sense, and you'll have to make an alternate interpretation of the meanings of symbols, but you might find yourself seeing it just doesn't make sense. Again, you'll simply have to find your own applicable meaning suitable to the symbol. For one person I shuffled cards 4 times in a row and the answer didn't make sense, though one card came up in a pile 3/4 times. This may be that her question was superfluous, I'd already answered it with an astrology reading before. You might find results 'inconclusive', but that is not necessarily the fault of the cards or system. The author tries to make an excuse for this but he should not explain his system as infallible, which is over-confidence and can also be interpreted as false advertising. When you do readings in general (psychic, astrological..etc) not all questions are fit for judgment. These cards are best used for more important and serious issues. As far as the book and its creator Monte Farber, a reviewer wasn't joking when they said the guy was pretentious. He is, titling himself 'The Celestial Mechanic' with proper capitalized nouns as if its a title reserved for him. He simply made a card form of astrological dice, it's not that revolutionary. Understand that this isn't traditional Western astrology but a derision of it; the astrology included in here is more new age-y and spiritual than actual scientific astrology. In other words, you really don't have to believe in karma to practice astrology. These cards just unite both, that said I don't read them in a way that really has to do with karma.I can see myself inventing my own ways to use it. Don't stop with what you read in the book. There are many ways these cards can be interpreted.

Fun, Powerful, and a great teaching tool whether you have an affinity for astrology or not!
This is a lovely, brilliant, and fun way to learn astrology. I've gifted so many people these that I've lost count. Here's how they work.Separate the cards into 3 piles -- Planets Pile Sign Pile and Houses Pile.Hold a question in your mind and Pull a card from the Planets deck and bring it face up. You will see three rows on the top of the card. The rows will be either Gold or Purple and they will have the beginning of a sentence on them.Pull a card from the Signs deck and look at the color of the rows and put the same color you chose for Planets up top.Pull a card from the Houses deck and do the same thing as the other two.Now you can read the top sentence of planets, continue to the top sentence of the Signs card you pulled and finish with the top sentence of the houses card you picked. It makes a coherent statement. Now do the second row, and the third. When you're done with the "Action part of the reading" flip the cards upside down and read the spiritual answer. If you know astrology you'll see why they fit a particular planet in sign and in a house. And I haven't even mentioned the remarkable artwork on each card. These are a must have for any student of astrology and for any seeker of answers.

Astrology made accessable and fun!
These cards are fun! Karma Cards are divided into three categories: Planets, signs and houses. They are beautifully illlustrated and come in a nice storage box. I enjoyed reading the guide book which explains how to use the cards and gives information on meanings. For example, in the planets section, it describes the symbol for the planet, what it represents and has Keywords, the planet's message, and warning. The really nice thing is that you don't have to be an expert in astrology to use these cards! Here's what you do: Divide the cards into the three categories (planets, signs, houses)then shuffle each stack and turn them over and read the sentence that is formed by the words on each card. The cards can be used to determine 'outcome' or 'action'. Blue side is for outcome and red/orange is for action. There are 3 levels of answer that you can obtain, they are: Spiritual, Mental and Physical. These are great cards. Fun and informative and really easy to use!

No Cards!
It says it comes with cards, but there are none. Very disappointing.

Quick and easy astrology course in a booklet
If you are new to astrology, you will love this product because the little book that comes with this card deck has the most wonderful simple explanation of astrology that cuts through miles and miles of astrological data, summarizing in a precise manner everything you need to know about astrology to get you started. As far as the cards go, they are excellent, but only if you have a thorough understanding of the astrological principles. Of course, you can always cheat and go to the last page - it tells you how to use the planet cards for quick yes/no answers. Teenagers love it because it's like shaking the black eight ball toy, you know, with the tetrahedron that rolls over with a quick fortune-telling answer (do they still make those?)Seriously, these cards are able to provide profound answers to life situations and bring clarity to many life situations, and you get a quick and easy astrology course in the form of a little booklet. Monte Farber gets 5 astrological stars!!!!!

so much fun
these cards are so much fun. they are astrology cards - the signs, planets and houses of the astrlogical chart. i find them more enlightening than tarot, but then again, i'm an astroger. but you don't have to be one to use these illustrated cards. messages are written right on the cards, and the book that comes with it is easy to read. you can even make up your own way to use them. it's a great gift for anyone, and a perfect gift for astrologers who want to try a lttle ESP along with their craft.
