Replacement for Samsung TV 3.5mm Composite Audio Video AV Cable Adapter 3 RCA CBF Signal Cable

After getting an old PlayStation 2 and hunting around for a way to hook it up to my tv, I came across this and thought I would give it a shot. Colors all matched up for me and the result looks a lot better than I was expecting from an old console on a new tv, could not be happier. Far cheaper than other options I found and works great.

The item worked with my Samsung curve, Nintendo Wii hooked up and worked like a champ.

I purchased this in hopes that it would work. My hopes were quickly destroyed finding that this is pure garbage. As another reviewer pointed out it is wired incorrectly. I had to put my video input into the WHITE audio port in order to get this to partially work. Even then it was distorted to the point where I felt like I was back in the 80s watching TV on an old tube and I was using the nobs to find a local channel that worked. Regardless, it's not something I desire when trying to play my old game consoles. Don't waste your money on this item.

Cord itself is fine but didn't do what I needed. Only connected audio and not video. I'm trying to connect an A/V style DVD player to a new TV that only has HDMI or a single prong connection. I was told by Geek Squad guy that this cord would work but it didn't. I only got audio and not video.
