Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy: From Art to Evidence

Highly recommend
Wise did a good job of giving a 30,000 ft. view of the scope and history of manual therapy. Rather than having an excessive number of books for Greenman, Kaltenborn, Mulligan, etc..., all the highlights and treatments have been included in this text. Also does a great job of showing what the literature supports, and what popular treatments still need to be studied, hints the "from art to evidence". Would recommend for all 2nd year DPT students and clinicians.*This text goes over some anatomical structures and bony contours, however the reader is expected to have a firm grasp on Anatomy prior to reading.

I like this book more for the history of manual therapy and the intro and comparison of the various schools of thought. As a technique book, nothing really special, nothing negative. I was hesitant at first for the book, initially thinking I was going to return it after skimming through it, but it ended up being a nice book and reference.
