So PhreshOdor Control Paper Cat Litter 25 lbs.

My kittens have been using this since we got them at 5 weeks (don’t judge… the queen had stopped nursing them and they needed to be taken care of). This works way better than the dark, brand named news litter, lasts longer, smells less, is lighter weight (easier on my babies), and is lighter in color so you actually SEE where the poop is!!! It also doesn’t turn to this icky sawdust mess after 1-2 uses like the dark, name brand newspaper litter. Wish I’d bought more of this and none of that. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I like paper pellets because they don't sink into the carpet when they get tracked out of their bins. These would work amazing in a litter tray with a slotted bottom so you could shake out the ones that have dissolved and scoop the poop. I just use a litter box liner and throw it all out once a week (I have three cats).I will add that you need to add a one pound box of baking soda to it. This is a good rule of thumb for any litter, in all honesty. It helps keep the smell down.

The product is good and the kittens are trying to use it.

I’m a new cat mom so I wanted to get my kitten the best litter to start potty training so…clay is no good, and anything with sent and clumping is horrible for kittens so I choose this one. It worked well but when you clean it, it’s hard to see where he peed. Other then that it didn’t smell or anything like that ☺️

We have two cats (1 male and 1 female) and this litter option has made cleaning and even having 3 litter boxes so much easier and pleasant. We were both cleaning litter boxes daily and running into the typical issues of not clumping well enough, strong odors and litter dust and particles all over the house. This litter absorbs so much more liquid and doesn’t smell at all. We can make it over a week before having to entirely switch out the pellets and a bag easily last us 6-7 weeks. This is cheaper, more eco friendly and the cats also easily made the switch over and seem to prefer this litter option as I notice less littler in paws and therefore less fussing from the cats.

It’s okay but does not keep odor away for long. I clean out the litter 2x a day but after three days you can’t hide the smell.
