A little goes a long way and the final product has amazing aromatics thanks for this the kala jeera.By the way, this really is kala jeera, unlike some other brands that market nigella seeds as such. Nigella seeds, as you may know, are completely unrelated to jeera and have a different flavor profile. This is true kala jeera.

Product came damaged. Also, you can probably pick this item up for about 4x less at your location Asian market.

Very nice black cumin, good quality, and a good price. Very few vendors sell the real thing, instead mistakenly selling Nigella (which look like black onion seed) as black cumin.

I gave three stars because I didn't see any expiration date printed on the packet.

no smell, no taste, feels like it way post any reasonable expiration date and just became tasteless hay

This is the other black cumin (not nigella seeds). Madhur Jaffrey uses it in her garam masala and other recipes. Nuanced difference with regular cumin.
