Epic bass great choice for the fives
I ordered this to pair with my klipsch the fives. The volume gets as loud as I would ever need for my house. It was the perfect size for my bedroom and easy to hook up. I have the Samsung s90d. The klipsch fives and this sub are epic when it comes to my set up. I didn't want to set up suround for my bedroom because of the bed layout up against the wall. I think this is the best option. Way better than any soundbar.

Powerful and sturdy design
The SVS SB-2000 Pro is an outstanding performer. After the break-in period, it truly shines. The bass is deep, tight, and incredibly controlled, yet nimble enough to keep up with fast musical passages. Paired with my Polk Signature Elite ES20 speakers, the integration is seamless—every track feels alive. The SVS app makes tuning effortless, and the sub delivers both power and precision. For music lovers, this subwoofer is a game-changer.

Don't buy this to "just try it out" or you'll end up keeping it! Ok, DO, it's pretty great.
As the title. Got this thinking "I can always return it when I find that all the reviews were wrong". Of course now I'm keeping it. Really has good sound. Not the overwhelming bass thump some may want, or rather, not if you configure it to blend with the music. It WILL thump for sure if you crank it, but that's easy. Blending with music and expanding the musical range so you hear music much better though is much harder. Set this that way and it excels. Even piano hits the subwoofer, and a good transparent sub just expands the fullness of music. The app is neat and easy to use if you Do want to alternate to "I just want it to thump", way easier than getting behind the sub, and I've toyed with it sometimes, but in general I just leave it at one set volume and don't mess with it, after the first week or so of course. It's also super compact, which is really nice if you want to put it, well, most anywhere.

Give it time.
This sub met and exceeded my expectations. The bass it tight, and subtle when it needs to be. But loud and forceful when you want it. From the roar of a giant lizard stomping around Hawaii, to the kick drum of an AC/DC song. It never falters, or fails to impress. For a 550w RMS 12" sub, this box is pretty small. Here is a pic of it next to my 12" Klipsch R-112SW. It's a sealed box, so it's not as loud as others. But that also means the bass is more accurate. (Research "Acoustic Suspension vs Bass Reflex" for more details) But you need to give it a break in period. Right out of the box it has 2 sounds...so soft you can't hear it, and slap happy loud. Nothing in between. Once it breaks in and loosens up a bit (about a week or two of good use) the sound just comes together. The app is a bit odd. Unless you have an older amp, or just a normal stereo set up, it's not good for much. The LFE/crossover is useless for home theaters as the amp does that work. The Parametric EQ is fun until you get it set, then you really never have to tinker with it again. Same with the phase and polarity settings. Still, it's fun to have. Bragging rights I guess. All things considered, this sub is WELL worth the money for anyone serious about their sound. I couldn't be happier.

Entry level but very good quality.
Great looking sub. Perfect for entry level. Will not keep up with my Bose main speakers, bottoms out listening to Pantera "Walk" My Elac never did that. For 900 bucks, Ill return it and get something more advanced level. Still a good quality sub, just not what I expected.

Incredible small sealed sub, exceeded my expectations!
This is an incredible little sub! I absolutely love the app and being able to have a few presets to toggle quickly from my phone vs. fiddling behind the sub each time. It puts out a lot of sound and can easily fill a large room, just understand that it can’t quite replicate the pressurization of a ported box. I replaced my old PB12-NSD with this due to aesthetics and space restriction, and was initially disappointed after a setting it up, running calibration through my Denon received via Audyssey and tweaking some settings on both the sub (via the app) and the receiver. I then called SVS and spoke with a rep who walked me through some of the more detailed settings within the app, and that unlocked the sub’s full potential! I couldn’t believe this tiny sub could hit such a wide range of notes. It sounds better and more accurate with music, and about 90% as good for movies vs my old ported box. Highly recommend this sub, you won’t be disappointed as long as you understand the limitations of a sealed box of this size.

Great Subwoofer
I was looking for more punch in my smallish room for movies, music dvds, and vinyl. This SB-2000 is a vast improvement from my previous sub. I finally feel the deeper bass. Fast, tight bass that blends well with the Klipsch Forte III fronts and RC-7 center speakers for both movies and music. Take the time to experiment with the cross-over frequency and you won't be disappointed. A great value for those looking for a quality subwoofer.

My first thousand $ + sub and I have only one regret…should have bought one years ago! This thing hits hard and low with as much accuracy you want - thanks to the app. This is my first sealed sub. It’s such a clean, tight bass that is invisible in the room vs hearing exactly where it came from with my ported subs. No more boomy trashy bass, this is pro and will be felt in your couch. I have to get a designated circuit installed as this sub will make my lights dance to the beat when turned up, so heads up if you have lots on your circuit and you like it loud. The app is pure genius!! From the comfort of your seat, you can dial it all in, no fiddling with knobs on the back and then sitting back down. I had 3 10” ported subs in my previous setup. My home “ theatre” is not ideal as I have an open concept living room that is without walls that segregate the kitchen, so sound is traveling far. The 3 subs were useful to eliminate dead spots of bass. Running just this sub is better than the 3, but I do have a couple of spots that need another sub to even things out. The big difference, even at low volume, you can feel this thing, not just hear it, it’s friggin amazing! Don’t get me wrong, the ported subs sounded decent, but was never felt. Every song, every movie rewatched or listened to is completely different in a badass way. I recommend purchasing the sound isolation feet, it made a noticeable difference in sound where it’s not rattling the hell out of my dishes. I will be twining this sub once I have new electrical circuits. I can’t imagine what the SVS 3000 sub or their higher models must be like….one day, when my wife leaves me I’m buying them. *Update: So I bought the second one, absolute game changer going dual. All dead spots gone. The amount of power and precision in my setup is insane. Zero regrets!
