Revisiting the great Jackie McLean!
Harnessed into the veteran NYC rhythm section of Peter Bernstein-Mike LaDonne-Joe Farnsworth, Cory Weeds has never sounded better. Reminds me a little of Art Pepper finally getting to play with Miles Davis' rhythm section (Garland-Chambers-Jones) on that epic early 60s date.

Great tribute album -- the organ and guitar combo work very well and Weeds burns through these tunes in a way that would make Jackie proud.
