I wanted to like this holster, I really did. The external finish is nice, however the edges are raw (unfinished). The belt slots on both sides were cut at a bad angle, making them too small for a proper leather gun belt (have to jam it through) - belt slots also unfinished/rough. The main function of a holster is to hold your firearm securely. This one doesn't. Very sloppy with the Taurus 856 to the point where the firearm can 'cant' front-to-back within the holster, jamming it up and making it a real chore to get it unholstered. Not good. Better stitching around the pressed form would probably correct this. Seems like it was made in a hurry, with no attention to detail. After several days I concluded this was another $50 holster for the workbench collection.

My Taurus 856 is in carry rotation for both winter and summer seasons and I use this holster. It needs to be worn in when you first receive it (I suggest putting plastic wrap/wax paper in it and leaving your gun inside to make an impression in it overnight) but works perfectly for me. I generally have a suit on so it fits nicely with formal wear, but it provides excellent support either way (so long as you have a decent belt). Would buy from this company again, really did have a hand written thank you note in the box when shipped.

Custom holster. Pro. Looks great. Cons: Doesn't hold it's shape. Leather is too soft. I had a terrible time reinserting the firearm into this holster after draw. Soaked it, put the pistol in to maintain it's contour, and room air dried. Seems better now but time will tell.

First, ships from Turkey. Shipping was quick considering. Somewhat molded for the Taurus 856 but a very loose fit. Would never carry outside the house in it. Feels like quality leather but liner is cheep.

The seller sent me a replacement with the correct labeling so it wouldn't be held up in customs. The holster is a beautifully crafted holster, and fits the gun like a glove. Great craftsmanship and was great to work with to solve the problem.

This is excellent. I read some lower reviews expressed here. I'm not sure where those come from. The one I received is perfect.
