Tour guide in Thailand told us about thanaka for acne. I bought this there. Loved it so much that I bought it here. Great acne control, NO BLEACH, a common and awful ingredient in many thanaka creams.

Balanced my sensitive skin
My skin is super complicated. It’s dry, sensitive, acne prone and to top it off has wrinkles (I’m 39). I got this cream because my skin reacted really well to Thanaka powder. I would mix the powder with kefir and use it as a mask. This worked great, but I wanted something I could use on a daily basis. For the first 4 or 5 days, my skin looked like I had just gotten a facial. Soft, dewy and toned. After that my skin adjusted and it didn’t look so dewy anymore. It still looks nice, but I think I just need some extra moisture for my dry skin. If you have more oily or normal skin, this cream may continue to do you wonders. As always, remember to wear a good facial sunscreen during the day. I apply this cream after washing in the morning, under my sunscreen and makeup, and at night after washing, under my heavier night cream.
