Love these expandable Hose but I've had 3 now and each one has lasted a year or less. They don't seem to be able to hold up to California Summer Heat so I went with a metal weather resistant one instead.

We've gone through 2 other 'collapsible hoses' in the past. They were both great while they worked but the first one lasted only a few months and the metal fittings separated from the inner part of the hose. The second one burst when the outer nylon covering wore through the much weaker inner hose formed a bubble at that weak spot and shortly burst. This new hose doesn't seem to depend on an outer sheathing to keep it from bursting and it seems to be made of thicker material. So, I believe this newer design bypasses all the weaknesses of the earlier, lightweight 'tube within a tube' design.I hooked it up and works as advertised - stretches about 3X its collapsed length. It's lightweight and the end fittings are very heavy duty. You could drive a dump truck over these fittings without damaging them. The adjustable nozzle has plenty of 'streams' and 'patterns' to choose from.So far, so good!

I was impressed that this expandable garden hose actually did what it was supposed to do. We could water our plants and not have to coil up the hose or use one of those awkward hose caddies. Over the course of 11 months, the hose developed a tiny leak. I contacted the company (Almadirect) by email. They verified that the hose is sold with a one-year warranty. They asked for a photo to document the failure. Within a few days, they shipped a new hose (including the spray nozzle and storage bag). It is refreshing to deal with a fine, upstanding company. Their responsiveness also reflects well on Amazon.

I just hooked this up today and and so happy it is so light. I’m female, 68, and not as strong as I used to be, so am delighted. The nozzle has many different types of sprays and that u shaped orange lever that flips up and down to turn on and off...I can just flick it with my finger. The little black stick lever on nozzle turns off water to nozzle completely..it was kind of stiff at first but I am sure it will loosen up. As for durability..I do not know yet. I did get two of these because I am going to use one with sun joe power washer, which is not a heavy duty washer. If it blows apart I will let you know. Otherwise I still have the other for regular use. It also takes up so much less space..I am lazy and not a big hose roller upper, so this is definitely a plus for me!

Just had the hose for a week, but right out of the box, appears to be the best-made expandable hose I've purchased to date. This is probably the 12th expandable hose I've purchased over the last few years. Typically these expandable hoses are made with cheap to moderate quality materials. It's a trade-off; you know it's only going to last for one week to (hopefully) six months. You buy it anyway because of the light weight and compact storage.I'm guessing because of the quality materials, this one's gonna last for a while. Yay! The sprayer is also better quality than it seems on the Amazon product page.If things fall apart after some time, I promise to revise this review. But, so far, so good!

I had heard about these for years but was reluctant to ever try one cause my old hoses worked fine. That is until one day my hose started leaking so I repaired it a few times and finally decided it’s time to try one of these. Turns out I was an idiot I wished I gotten on board with this years ago! So practical, light, and water flow is still just as strong! The nozzle that comes with it is exceptional quality as well I may end up buying another to get all the way around the yards.

I liked the hose because it is lightweight and seem to be made of better material than most lightweight contractible hoses. I ordered The 25 ft hose and it does not stretch out to that far. Although it has a heavy brass male and female ends, it makes it heavier. Every contractile hose I have ever owned, never break or leak at the spout or end, they would burst in the hose itself. So therefore, you are paying extra for parts that are not necessary to making the product stand out from the rest. I do like the sprayer and storage bag that came with it. I just ordered the 50 ft hose, just like the first one and I am getting used to th heavier brass fittings. Most brands of this type of hose usually last one summer watering season, then you have to replace them. It’s worth replacing, because I hate those heavier rubber hoses.

Right on small storage and wraps up fast no kinks and powerful sprayer! And can use in apartments with adapter they have on Amazon!
