I am so happy I Decided to buy this kit to hang my sun shades. They were super easy to mount. Great quality they didn’t feel like those cheap flimsy ones at the store. What I loved most were the tensioners. These made stretching and tightening the sunshades an ease. On the end of one of my shades I have a cable ran 15 feet connecting to the house. And that tensioner was a savvier !! So when the wind blows I don’t have to worry about the sun shades flapping around and tearing up. I highly highly highly recommend this specific product if you are going to hang a sun shade or anything else that requires tension on it.

excellent kit. mounting eyes are much heavier made than I expected. turn buckles are a must-have. I did go out and buy some extra carabiner clips so I could place one on each end of mountings. I didn't use the rope pieces that came with the awning panel but chose instead to purchase a "dog-chain" and used that on all corners. Makes using this mounting kit easier and I feel more secure about the mounting of it. This kit is almost a must have to hang a sail awning.

The kit is listed at a great price for what you get. The eye brackets feel strong and I'm confident those will hold up nicely. The turnbuckles are nice, and unlike other reviews, I did not need to add any lube or anti-seize material. I do have two suggestions for improvement: stronger carabiners and longer screws. The use of turnbuckles assumes there will be a significant amount of force placed onto the mounting brackets; I don't know if 1" screws will be OK in the long run, but I guess they are usable for a 2x4 mounting post. I would use 2 1/2" screws minimum. The carabiner clips are also pretty thin and don't leave me with a lot of confidence. I hope I'm wrong since I used them, but I wish they would have provided larger and thicker carabiners.

Very easy to install, we purchased a 2nd one the same day as the first one went up, tested water flow off with a spray hose to make sure the runoff was good, the important thing we found was to wait a day until it stretched out and tighten it up again, you will get some sagging if you don't, it is just the material stretching out, we had a good steady wind and no problems at all. Very Satisfied with the shade protection on our back deck!

This is a great comprehensive kit made of quality components. I know you could buy individual pieces from a big box store for a few dollars less, but this kit provides you with the exact quantity, nice finishes and materials are better than what you can get (this is especially true with the pandemic). The kit was shipped quickly with the triangle sail I purchased.

Turnbuckles, triangle pad eye attachments Fantastic - Snap hook adequate - screws provided highly INEFFECTIVE. Screws are not the right gauge or length to support sail in any wind. Used heavier duty screws to ensure longevity of overall installation.

They work well with the shade sail ropes.
