Perfect wine rack for a small wine supply. Great for a small area.
I bought this guy to spruce up a small segment of the wall. I like that it holds wine bottles and glasses. It gives a room a very classy look without being too over-the-top or large. I thought the price was just right, a lot of these wine racks can run you A LOT more. Since placing it, I've had several friends ask me where I got it because they like it so much. Good, strong material. I have it fully stalked and it is still sturdy. Wasn't hard to put together. It is wide enough that you can only put 2 glasses per row so factor that into your storage count. I just put a few glasses there for character, didn't plan on this being a "warehouse" of wine glasses. One caveat: One of the pieces came broken. Amazon sent a replacement ASAP. I'm never sure where along the line these things happen and try to review only the product, not what happened during shipping.Bottom line: great wine rack for people without a huge stock or large space. Sturdy and easy to assemble.

Sturdy and Looks Great
This was a great buy.I recently made a long distance move and had a few cases of wine to transport. I bought this based on the mainly positive reviews and was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked it.Assembly was fairly straight forward and easy for someone at any level of handiness. The rack itself looks great, the finish is a very dark brown, dark enough to almost look black in poor lighting.I think the best part of the rack is how sturdy it is. It holds my wine (which are all 750 mL bottles with some specialty 750 mL bottles of beer mixed in) securely. Additionally, it gives a nice bit of extra space to use in the kitchen. The top shelf of the rack is big enough for my fruit bowl as well as my microwave oven. Now, it's a small microwave and is rather light, so this is not pushing the limits of the rack's weight capacity. Just use common sense when putting anything on top.I would note to place Pinot Noir/Chardonnay style bottles in a little more carefully, as the bottom-heavy shape of the bottle might cause the bottle to shift if you place it a little haphazardly. I also have not put any Riesling style bottles on it so I don't know how they fit.All in all, it looks great, it's real sturdy, and it's a great value.

Elegant and useful, great for the price
I needed an inexpensive wine rack for my small apartment and ordered this based on the good reviews. It is easy to put together but you need an extra set of hands. I actually did mine on my own but was very tricky and required some careful balancing. It looks elegant and not cheap. My only complaint (and the reason I am not giving this five stars) was that the top part had a small dent in it but I didn't care that much about it since I was always going to have a tray and some other stuff on it. I just didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it.Wine bottles fit and are held sturdily on the four bottom racks - no issues with even magnums or wider bottles. Wine glasses should be standard size. I have standard red wine glasses that are generous in width and they *just* fit but you won't be able to fit the big, wider ones for Burgundy side by side to each other. The wine rack is strong enough to put weighty bottles and glasses on top.The wine rack looks really great in my dining room and certainly appears to be a lot more expensive that it cost. I get many compliments on it. A fantastic bargain for the price!

Great buy!
Very easy to assemble, top is sturdy and solid. The color is also deep and rich and is the perfect size for a smaller apartment. The wine racks are also well spaced and can hold some of my odd shaped Pinot bottles. The glass rack holds standard sized stemware, unfortunately most Riedel glasses are too large. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Perfect piece; best assembled with 2 people
I absolutely love this piece; the picture doesn't do it justice. It fits the corner of my dining room perfectly, and had enough tablespace on top to fit the countertop wine rack we already owned (expanding our storage beyond 24 bottles) as well as some accessories. The piece is made of heavy, sturdy wood and doesn't wobble at all. The bottles fit securely in their places as do our glasses. We didn't have any trouble one reviewer had with the glasses not fitting which would be a shame since it would be wasted space.Assembly went well -- good quality screws and included allen wrench. However, it took two of us to line up the slats with their respective holes. You'd get one lined up then mess it up trying to get the next one done. It would have taken me forever and cost not a little bit of sanity trying to do it on my own. If all slats were screwed in, it might have been possible. But the middle slats just slide into holes. They aren't secured on one side or the other, so they didn't cooperate nicely. But otherwise, directions were clear and all parts correctly included.I would definitely purchase this again!
