This backpack is an excellent combination of style and functionality. The quality of the materials is impressive, and the sleek design is eye-catching. It features well-placed pockets inside and out, making it practical for organizing essentials. The size is perfect for a daypack—not too bulky for daily use.However, this bag is specifically designed with camera equipment in mind, featuring ample padding to protect delicate gear. While that makes it great for photographers, I found it less ideal for regular hiking or walking around the city. I ultimately returned it because it didn’t suit my needs for a general-purpose daypack. If you’re looking for something versatile, this might not be the best fit—but for photographers, it’s a fantastic option.

For the 15 L. The bag materials are nice and the overall design and quality is good, as would be expected from Peak Design. I really like the company as a whole and I have several products but this one missed the boat. The bag is too small to be useful- it barely fit a Sony a7c with the 20-70 in the bottom area. And the divider system isn’t really useful for fixing that problem. It’s tight and small on the back and it’s hard to access the compartments. The dividers don’t fold up and stay easily. When you unzip the bag they adjust. The side pockets intrude into the open space too much, limiting even more of you are storing eg batteries.

I really wanted to love this bag. I wanted the smaller version for lighter travel, using sony APSC 6400 camera, rain jacket, some snacks, water, etc. The side access was very useful for getting the camera out fairly quickly and slipping it back when started to rain. The outer shell very weather proof. The zippers are smooth as silk. I liked the ability to strap items to the outside with the mounting point. Plenty of pockets, luggage pass through, security zips, etc etc etc. BUT, on my frame the straps were unbearable. I'm 6'3", and and the straps were just too small. If I had it cinched up, the straps cut into my armpits. Only way I could wear it was completely loose, and far as the straps would allow. This put the chest strap at my neck, and no additional room to put a Peak capture clip for the camera on the straps. I think the 20 L would fit better, but it was too large, heavy for what I wanted. If you are tall or larger, this 15L may not be comfortable.

This backpack is so well designed and amazing. I love peak design and this bag is better than I hoped.I’m small and I wanted a small backpack.It fits my computer, camera plus lens, and still has room for another camera body and lens. It’s perfect!!
