Excellent. Very easy to install and use. Features are excellent with extras if you want them. Anti virus is very good.

Great but why so many popups!
This is a fantastic and quality anti virus software, it keeps my PC safe all day. I trust Norton to give the best protection on the market. It never hinders my PC's speed and processing. The only reason I cannot give it 5 stars is the amount of popups it creates to try and sell you more features. Unnecessary and frustrating!

Norton 360 is excellent, update any old prejudice against Norton
I'm old enough to remember the excellent Norton utilities, which mutated from a small, fast suite of MS DOS tools into a bloated, resource-hungry mess. Likewise, Norton Antivrirus was, not too long ago, a bit of a resource-hungry monster that could slow down a PC almost as much as the viruses it was supposed to be protecting you from. That, my friend is history. Norton 360 is excellent. Not only do you get first-class virus protection, you also get dark web monitoring to tell you if your personal details are being sold on the dark web, you get a fast VPN (I mean really fast, I've had VPN speeds of over 100mbps on my 200mbps Virgin broadband), cloud backup (just enough for Windows, but not enough for a load of installed games/software, so I don't use it.), a password manager, and parental controls. Frankly, it's worth the cost just for the VPN: 12 months fast VPN for 5 devices for £15? What sorcery is this?! (And yes, the Virus protection and VPN works on my Android phone and tablet). The downside? Installation is fairly simple, but unintuitive, and for the financially paranoid (like me) a bit harrowing. I don't like having to give my financial details to install software, but I found I did with Norton 360, even though I'd bought it from Amazon. Happily, it's easy to cancel the auto-renew, but it's a bit messy and Norton should do better. It's even messier if you're upgrading from an older version of Norton Security Deluxe, as it's not just a simple install, you have to completely clear off the old software and it's not intuitive or particularly quick. But for a fresh install, this is great! I was a died in the wool AVG user, but I'm on my third year of Norton now, (2nd year of Norton 360) and I'm loving it. Unreservedly recommended, but you may need a little tech support.

Ruined my laptop running time
This latest version (I've used Norton 4 years in row) just wrecked my laptop and left it unusable! The NOISE it made was incredible - loud and continuous whirring. Frozen screens, several minutes to load sites, freezing. Just absolutely awful!! I will NEVER buy it again. In the end I uninstalled it. I'm not sure why it had this effect this time - as I say, it's the fourth year I've used Norton -but it really was incompatible. I've left it on my phone/tablet and they seem to be okay (for now)

Works really effectively.
I’ve been using Norton since Norton himself.!!! Great product. Turn off automatic renewal unless you’re rich. It will pester you to turn back on, ignore it. Buy product with multiple devices available. Has great VPN on Laptop, mobile phone etc. Storage is different to Google drive, it’s a batch upload system. Being online it has limited use. Would take way too long to back up even a laptop. Ok for backing up photos, music and some essential applications data. Video collection would take ages to upload. Look out for version with PC tools included. Much cheaper than buying separately. This version doesn’t have that. Easy to install and just gets on with it in the background.

Good product, but to need to activate with credit card and be forced into subscription renewal :-(
This is first time I have purchased a prepaid product key, where as part of the activation process you are required to input credit card details and be compulsory auto enrolled in their subscription service, with yearly billing being a lot higher that the original prepaid key. The reason why consumers like me buy a prepaid key is to just to activate the product for 12 months. I don’t want to hand over credit card details or be forced to sign up to auto-subscription, especially when the Norton online subscription pricing in over 4.5 times the price of a prepaid key. Norton seriously need to rebuild trust with their consumers and change this nonsense, if a consumer pays for 12months of a product, then they should be precisely given this, of course they can offer the subscription, however this should only ever be as an option (that is not enforced by default). Now it is possible to disable the auto renewal however the process is convoluted an annoying. To activate the product you sign into my.norton and enter in the activation key, you then need to input you credit card details, after which you are automatically enrolled into subscription renewal. So once you have installed the product and rebooted your machine, you need to log back into my.norton, go into account settings, find ‘automatic renewal settings’ and switch off (you will have two nag boxes warning you not to switch off, however proceed and complete the change). Note your product will still run the full term of the prepaid key. The next stage is to remove your credit card details, for this you can go into ‘Billing Information’ tab and remove your card. Now the only downside I see after removing autorenewal and credit card, is that if for ay reason you need to contact Norton for assistance, they will only deal with you if auto-renewal is turned on. Personally, I’ve never needed to contact Norton in 20 years of usage of their products, however if I did need support, I imagine I would just need to go back into the account and reverse those changes temporarily. Now the product itself is good. While some early incarnations of the Norton internet security products were sometimes resource hungry and intrusive, newer releases have been much better. This latest new product offering of Norton 360 Deluxe seems the natural evolution of the product adding VPN and cloud storage and performs well. Having read several online tests, the product seems to consistently score well. The VPN option is a good addition for computers and mobile devices, I shall be testing this alongside another VPN service I use to see if I move the Norton VPN option. Overall I recommend the product, however Norton need to reconsider their dirty tricks in trying to getting consumer to auto renew, otherwise I will take my custom elsewhere.
