Quality, workmanship, durable and beautiful.
Beautiful and old school type of craftsmanship. Solid laminated maple, smooth and needing to be oiled but still perfect. I was informed by a friend from Maylasia, of how the processors have to chemically treat bamboo to prevent wood borers from eating it. Maple doesn’t have this issue, but has hardness that stands up to decades of use. Plus it’s made domestically. Sized to be your every day cutting board, but too small for a full brisket or side of ribeyes… if you’re making a 12lb roast, you already know you need a larger cutting board. High quality, little packaging, and continues to please.

Surprisingly nice cutting board
This cutting board is a perfect size, very nice quality and a great price. It's not as hefty as some of the pricier ones and does need to be treated with board oil and wax like any other wooden board but I'm extremely pleased.

Cracking.
Over all I think this is a very nice product, and I thought I would order another one, or smaller size one for different use if they had one available. However it has been less than 6 months, and I have not used it whole a lot, and it is cracking from sides........

Mine is as good as light boards get
This thing is awesome. Mine had some lovely grain going on and the wood got some welcome mild reddish tint after finishing with wax. One month in the board is damn flat, no bowing (but this is winter). Surfaces were sanded just right and no rough edges anywhere. Comes unfinished - as it should; I opted for butcher block oil as the finish. The wood is near great: no bark, no chips, no knots. Mine has some darker natural variation in the material and has 2 joints. I love the thing and it is only better that I only paid 20$ for it. With good care: food safe finish every couple weeks and drying after rinsing I think it would last a long time. Or until some silly guests throws it into the dishwasher. I can not attest how well the joints are done yet - that would take a year. Overall five out of five for a chopping board used in cooking that you want to lift every once in a while weather to transfer things into a pan or to rinse off.

Crack developed in wood
Nice size, design and appearance. However, after four months with only hand washing (no dishwasher) and oiling, a crack developed that seems to be widening. Not sure if uncured wood was used to cause this crack, which is not on a seam. See picture. It is hard to ensure that bacteria do not reside in this crack so its useful life may be limited.
