This pattern is very versatile. The short version can be made into a beach cover-up as indicated on pattern envelope. Pattern can be made from a variety of fabrics. The longer version can be made of sheer, dressy fabrics to be worn over a form-fitting evening gown. I am looking forward to sewing projects from this pattern.

Easy and so fun!
You can make this in an afternoon. The pattern is simple and the outcome is so much fun. The hard part is not making an entire wardrobe of just caftans.

I have not made a caftan from this pattern yet, but I'm happily looking forward to. It is exactly what it says it is--a pattern for a 1970's style caftan, and I look forward to making it.

Looks great, can't wait to make it. Very good service! I made the short version in a size small. The pattern is very, very easy to follow. The finished fit is great and just like the picture. Really comfy and fun to wear. I will make the full length version and plan to make many more. Love it!

Just a great coverup! Depending on your fabric, it can be a cosy, comfy winter lounging coverup or a light, breezy coverup after swimming or when it is too hot for anything else! So glad I was able to get this pattern again as my original pattern finally fell apart.
