S&W M&P Shield/Shield Plus OWB Holster, Forefinger Release, Right-Hand, 9mm/.40, 3.1'' Barrel

This holster fits very securely. I would consider this a great value for the cost. The plastic feels very durable and it is very quick to draw. With a loose jacket or sweatshirt I believe it would also be concealed easily. I tested the holster upside down and shook the holster, it was very secure. I would consider this a safe/well made holster. It also came with two extra screws in case they were ever lost.

This is a well built copy of the Blackhawk Serpa style holster for about half the price. The belt clip works well and does not slide around on my gun belt. The holster itself is well made and fits my M&P Shield Plus 9mm perfectly. The cant angle is very easy to adjust to your preference. The level 2 retention feature works perfectly. It is very comfortable to wear and is now my favorite OWB holster. I recommend this holster to anyone looking for a good OWB holster for a M&P Shield / Shield Plus at a fair price.

11-26-18: My original review is below. I’m confident that the original unit I received was a defective piece and didn’t accurately represent this holster. I guess this happens when your product is produced in China. Either way, the new holster I received is perfect and EXACTLY what I wanted it to be. It functions perfectly and holds the weapon securely. The best part about this holster is that it is actually concealable! It rides high and tight to the body and I can actually conceal it under a button up shirt that is properly fitted...not multiple sizes larger. This is hard for me to find since I’m 6 feet and 195 fit pounds. My build (not having extra cushioning) makes it hard to find a good holster that conceals. This has all changed now. Other holsters this style protrude way too much to conceal. Not this one. It has nothing more than you need. I don’t need a dial to rotate the holster 360 degrees but adds inches off my belt. This is my go-to winter holster now! Access to the weapon is great under a jacket. It’s just perfect and I’ll be ordering again for my other weapons! Thanks to the company (Amee) who truly stood behind their product and did what it took to makes things right! Edit: The manufacturer of this holster has reached out to me with phenomenal communication and they offered to send me a free replacement. I believe in earning what is yours so I kindly refused the free replacement after they already issued the refund, but they still offered a discount. I’m reordering in the hope that I simply got a poor representation of this product. I really like the fit of the holster and the fact that you can actually conceal this, as it sits high and tight to the body. I’ll update my review once I receive the new one. Original Review: This is, far and away, the worst holster I’ve handled or tried. I’ve come across many holster that have made their way into the holster box, never to be used, simply because they didn’t fit my needs. This holster, however, is the worst attempt at securing my Shield that I have seen. The holster itself is flimsy and made of subpar plastics. There is no rubberized backing on the paddle to keep the holster in place so it has the potential to slide around on your belt. Once the weapon is in the holster, the holster fails to give any audible or tactile feedback to let you know it’s seated fully. All of this could be overlooked with training and compromise, but the most glaring issue (and nail in the coffin) is that I can readily and easily pull my shield from the holster without pressing the release. I can repeat this time and again meaning that not only does it provide no feedback that the weapon is seated, but it also provides ZERO retention whatsoever. This product is absolute garbage. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.

This is an amazing holster for the price!! Love that it has room for an optic so I wont have to buy a new holster when I get mine on! Definitely recommend buying!

So I use a S&W Shield Plus .30 Supper Carry. Thinner than both the S&W 9mm and the .380. Not a lot of options out there right now. So I purchased this OWB holster hoping it would fit, and it did. It could be a just a tab bit snugger, but everything else works and fits fine. It locks into the holster perfect and the forefinger release button is very smooth, and the handgun comes out quick and easy. Just what you want in a holster.

One of the few (maybe the only) OWB holsters for the Shield Plus (3.1") that I found that hooked to the belt (without a paddle) and had Level II retention. The holster material is more of a plastic polymer, rather than Kydex, but it's very sturdy., fits my Shield Plus perfectly, and is light. (I wanted to attach a Blade-Tech Tek Disk to it, so I had to drill out the holes and go through the holster so I could attach Chicago nuts and screws, but this worked perfectly and I didn't have to damage the original threads for the screws that came with it. Nice if I ever want to go back to the way it's shipped). The finger retention release is easy to use and quick. The belt attachment is really good and secure, adjustable for different width belts, and allows 30 degrees of cant forward or back. Much better system (at least to me) than a paddle attachment. Very happy with the purchase, as well as the customer support!

Fits the S&W shield plus perfectly. For the price point it is amazing! Will try to update with how it holds up . But so far A+
