Did what it was supposed to do!
Bought to use with a Philips 5000 series Shaver. (Reviews had said it was USB and it wasn't) NOTE: for some of the 5000 series You still need to have the right 15v mains USB plug for the USB A end, so you may as well use the Philips own UK 3 pin adaptor. (I sent the Philips back.) As a replacement for a Broken Philips USB shaver I think this is great! The adaptor fitted the shaver well and a green Led showed power was flowing from my 20v adaptor, and the shaver did show it was charging but as I wanted USB I sent the shaver back.

Works fine so far
Given what some people have said in the reviews for this charging cable, I was slighly wary when ordering this product but I kept a close eye on it and tried charging my 92xx series shaver with this cable plugged into a standard USB wall charger and also a portable USB battery pack and both charged my shaver fine. The latter is an ideal combination when away camping for a week. I suspect some of those that had issues with overheating or damage to their shavers were trying to use this charger with an incompatible shaver. Always make sure the HQ number of the charger/cable matches with the HQ number printed on your shaver & never force a charging plug into a socket that doesn't fit. The chunky USB plug gets very slightly warm during use but nothing to worry about (this houses a DC-DC converter which boosts the 5v voltage from the USB charger to the 15v required to charge the shaver).

Perfect - Now able to charge via USB
I'd lost my charger to my beard trimmer and found this one. It's much better as you can use any USB socket to charge your trimmer rather than needing a separate adapter. Works perfectly. Cheap too.

Replica and doesn’t charge
Left to charge overnight and it took 5 seconds to stop and says not charged. It shows charging but it doesn’t charge at all. I have the original charger which is fine but needed this USB for travelling and being able to use USB outlets wherever I am. It just doesn’t work, don’t waste your money, it’s a fake thing.

Not useful
It was not fit for my trimmer

Works as advertised with my Philips Series 3000 trimmer
This charging cable works great for my Philips Series 3000 trimmer. I suspect the complaints about things not working are due to incompatibility issues with different devices - especially OneBlade units where different models use two different battery types. So be sure to check your original charger's voltage and power output as well as the connector.
