I got this for my daughter's 4th birthday. At the time she was 40" tall and weighed about 48 pounds. (Big girl, I know.) This dress came to her knees and was just a tad long in the sleeves. I bought her the size 6.Fast forward almost a year and my daughter is now 51 pounds and 43.5" tall. This dress is now a tunic for her. If she were to wear it as a dress she would have Shirley Temple moments of flashing her undershorts.As for quality, great soft material that does not shrink when both machine washed and dryed. The design on the front is well done and actually sown onto the dress instead of just a glued applique. The colors have not bled nor faded and it has been worn and washed often.

I bought this dress for my 2 year old who turns 3 next month. I would say it fits close to true size. I bought a 3T and then length is good and the sleeves are a little long. I think it will fit perfectly for this fall/winter. I was impressed that the unicorn is stiched on and not just ironed on. I still have yet to wash and dry it. I plan on hang drying it to avoid shrinking.

I chose to size up after reading reviews but I think it is more true to size. My daughter is 4 and I ordered a 5, it is too large. The dress and horse are well made, I would recommend.

A really nice alternative to boutique brands. The applique was well-sewn, the colors were vibrant, and the fit was true to size. It's not Boden quality, but it looks really nice and has held up well. It's a great play dress & I don't have to worry about it getting dirty or damaged since the price is so reasonable.

In my experience, this item runs small. My daughter can comfortably wear 12-18 months clothes, and 18 months are consistently too big, even after many wears and washes. This dress however was much too short, even for an infant (overall length, sleeves just a bit). Luckily I had some white shorts packed that she wore with it. Otherwise, dress is cute and quality seems good.(I did not pre-wash before wear but once I do I expect it will shrink a bit smaller still).

After reading reviews of fraying I was concerned to buy but took a chance and wow do my daughter and I love this dress. I wash it in washer bag on hand wash setting, and lightly dry then hang dry and it has held up nicely. So cute!

I love this dress soooo much. It is the cutest thing, beautiful quality, and looks so stylish for the price!It does run really small, though. I bought it for an average-size 21 month old who usually wears 24 months or 2T. First, I bought this dress in a 2T, and it was way too small. So I returned it and bought a 3T. It’s still barely to her knees and pretty snug. Guess I’ll try a 4T, which does seem crazy for a 1 year old! This adorable dress is worth it, but start with at least a size bigger than you usually would get.

Loved the look of the dress when it arrived. I bought it for my skinny, 95% height almost 4 year old daughter. The 4 was too small in the chest (she’s has. 22” chest), the arms were nice and long, but the neck was huge. It was an odd fit. She was swimming in the 5. I should also mention there was a slight difference in color between the 5 and 4 but only slight. Both were a pretty coral-like color.
