Strange New World Hardcover – May 8, 2018

I Love the adventure and the side of romance. Good easy read. Really enjoyed this series and am sad it is over.

The storyline was good. The book was enjoyable but some characters could be developed more. The end of the book seemed abrupt.

It enthralls you from the start. Read the first one, and you won't be able to put it down either. A vision of the scary possibilities that could be if we lose our caring and humanity.

My students really love this series.

Good book for teen girls. She likes the storyline and couldn't put the book down.

This is the second one in the series, which I ended picking up from the library, bringing it home, and then realizing it was a series. Luckily I was able to find the first in the series at another local library.After I read the first book, I couldn't wait to pick up the second. I wanted Dahlia 16 and Trigger 17 to be able to be together, but their world was so different from what I'm used too. All the clones. The belief that if something is wrong with one of the clones, they all had to die.This one follows Dahlia 16 and Trigger 17 as they have escaped the city. They have realized that the rest of the world is not like where they grew up. They come from a clone farm that is mass producing servants for the elite.After Dahlia's 4,999 clones are recalled, she finds out she still has one remaining clone on the outside. Her duplicate, who should not exists, is Whitney Whitmore, a rich, popular teenager who has a show that details her everyday life. Whitney has no idea she is a clone.I enjoyed the second book in the series more than the first, I'm not sure if it's by then I was just so into their world, or if it was the book itself. I was rooting for Dahlia. The clone aspect was intriguing. And them trying to keep Dahlia hidden since no one was supposed to know that Whitney was a clone was interesting. Whitney herself grows from a spoiled, rich brat, to somebody who cares about others: the clones.This was such a fun series to read! I read both of these books quite quickly as they were hard to put down. I am eagerly awaiting a third book, if the author decides to write one!

I love a good dystopian and was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this duology. It was a lot of fun and seemed well written. It reminded me of some of my original dystopian reads like the giver, never let me go. I thought it was a clever idea and I liked where it went. It was clean and fun and I liked the characters overall.

The story of a future world where clones are the norm is one of amazement and cruelty. The courage of a few to escape their life of servitude and strict controls may just change the lives of all the clones. All in the name of love…

great book. no cracks or rips in the cover or damage to any pages.

Good book, easy to read and have good moments of action.

O primeiro é melhor, porém é preciso ler este que é a continuação do livro "Dezesseis". Mas é um livro bom

Ich finde den zweiten Band fast noch besser als den ersten. Schade, dass die Bücher nicht ins Deutsche übersetzt werden/wurden. Ich bin mir sicher, dass sich einige begeisterte Leser* für diese Dystopie finden würden.
