Boardwalk 136 Metal Tip Threaded Hardwood Broom Handle, 15/16" Dia x 60" Long

Threaded in to my broom ok. Broke with some rigorous assault by my resident destroyer. I think it would hold up well to 'normal' use. Unfortunately 'normal' use is not part of my household.I would recommend it for a broom handle. I would not recommend it for an assault weapon or house construction

I kept breaking my push broom shafts where it screws into the broom head when trying to sweep heavier wood scraps in my woodshop. Nothing like finally getting the motivation to clean the shop and feeling that wobbly broom head when you start. This one is AWESOME because the threads aren't plastic. I've had it in my broom for 6 months with zero problems. It's a snug fit, but that's a good thing since it doesn't come loose.

This handle is long (5ft) with a smooth finish, however, I would not recommend it for heavy duty cleaning as it is not rigid enough. It bends significantly in the middle when applying pressure, so I can only recommend it for light duty tasks.

Doesn't screw into the brush perfectly but works well enough for a cheap basement brush

Great product, great price. Nice solid hardwood. Many are only 48" long and he 60" length was available for the same price. If you want one though, it seems they are always unavailable from this seller.

Its a strong piece of wood. Cheaper aluminum threaded portion. Crappy packaging job Amazon.com thanks for exposing the wood to the elements. But heck it was 8 bux shipped all n all im pleased with the stick.
