Love these picture railing hangers! They are a brass look metal, and slightly flexible so it’s easy to work with them so they fit nicely on the picture railing.I used these hanger with a plastic fishing line type wire that I purchased locally. All the things I hung were lighter weight items arranged in groupings of small pictures and decorations. All the pictures I hung were small, with lightweight wood frames and no glass. I wouldn’t use these hangers for heavy items such as mirrors.I don’t recall there being a weight limit on the description for these. Normally when you purchase picture hangers in the store, they are labeled by the amount of eight they can hold.I would certainly purchase these again if I move into another vintage home with picture rails.The other reason for a good rating is that these are often difficult to locate in local stores and they are nice looking.

I purchased these to hang pictures without damaging my plaster, since I just recently renovated and repaired the plaster of some walls. This allows me to move pictures along the wall without the commitment of drilling nails, which can damage the plaster. Flexible enough that I could bend it around the trim to suit, but also pretty sturdy for the purposes that I needed it for.

My picture rails stand off the wall a bit and the lighter framed pics dangled hung off the wall crooked with other picture rail hook designs. This one feels thin and cheap but I used that feature to re-bend the hooks to hold the pics closer to the wall so they laid flat. Problem solved!

Does the job. Items are not solid bronze color. Color ranges from dirty silver to bronze. Overall a good look and great value, but do note that coloring of the metal varies across each piece.

My apt is old and I have molding all along the walls.I decided to use these old school hook and wires which compliments the 1920s aesthetic of my apartment.Highly recommend if you have the molding and want a vintage look, also saves your walls from holes and less spackle jobs!!

Redoing my bedroom and installed Victorian picture rails and these hangers are a must to hang pictures without nails in the new walls.

The house we moved into has a rail along the top of the ceiling and these work great for hanging things. Easy to use and no holes in your walls.
