Heavyweight
Redecorated my living room and had a plate that was gifted to me, but couldn’t find a place to present it probably. Bought this as it looked like it was made of a heavier metal, and it was. You can hang it on the wall or just set it on top of table that sits up against a wall. A nice design and holds the plate safely.

Looks good
Holding a plate dish for Christmas. Have also used it to hold a low edge bowl. This is the 2nd one I’ve ordered. Sturdy and attractive while not taking away from the item being displayed.

It handled a very, very large 5" deep pasta bowl perfectly.
I have a very large (almost platter sized) pasta bowl that is 5" deep. I wanted to display it, but I was concerned if this stand could handle it. Yes it could....very well. I am very pleased.

Works great!
I bought this to hold a decorative bowl that we brought on vacation. The bowl is fairly deep, and has some weight to it. This stand works perfectly for it. It is sturdy and stable and looks nice without being overwhelming. The feet of the stand are non-scratch. Since we have it on a shelf, I don't know how it would be to try and hang something with it.

Very Sturdy
This display stand is very sturdy. It's pretty wide at the base, about a hand's width, so it can accommodate a bowl or deep platter easily, but might make a plate lean too much. The decorative swirls are practical to hold an object securely. I love that it can be used as a solid stand on a surface as well as hung on a wall. It's heavy, so make sure you use well-anchored screws to hang it.

Very Sturdy and Pretty
I bought these to hang some large serving platters on a dining room wall. They worked great and look wonderful. Exactly what I needed!

Studs and Mounting- A Cautionary Tale For Girls Everywhere
I’m like a lot of housewives losing their minds right now. I’m getting all crafty while quarantined, hot glueing and chalk painting and distressing like I’m some kind of blogger or influencer. I dug out this gigantic platter that I bought for $5 at a thrift store. So while I was measuring it to buy the right display materials, I stumbled upon this maker mark that sent me down a rabbit hole of late 19th century British pottery history which led to some lovely chats with some dealers (antique, not drug) across the pond. After some research, I discovered it was worth like a billion dollars. No just kidding it was really like $250 but hey, I’ll take it! With that it mind, I had to be kind of picky about what I bought to display this beauty. Which led me to this wall/table top display. Imagine my disappointment when I opened it to discover that I wasn’t going to be mounting onto studs anytime soon. It didn’t come with hardware, which all in all isn’t a big deal, but when you get ready and shave your legs and pull your hair up and put makeup on to mount to studs, it is *such* a letdown to find out you’re not prepared for any of those activities. It’s a Great Wall (of China) or table mount, I just figured it should come with stuff to use it both ways. But what do I know? I showed up to mount studs unprepared. Clearly I learned nothing in high school.I do know one thing now, though. My daughters will never have to go through what I did. Not only will they know they don’t have to shave, but they’ll have a toolbox ready with everything they will ever need to mount, I mean, hang their thrift store platters.
