GN Beach Cricket Set

I'm having a lovely time at the beach with this cricket set. We are Americans, so everyone is new to the game. I knew my baseball-loving nephews would be keen on it, though. The bat is sturdy and the wicket is steady. The kit has a rubber ball, though we have been playing with a tennis ball. Either works. The set packs up nicely in a handy carrying bag. Very satisfied.

Just received this rubbish. It’s from India so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised but they’ve sent something totally different to what was advertised. For those who don’t know, Gray Nicholls is a storied English bat maker. What I’ve received is some cheap copy rubbish. I looked through the reviews here - they’re all bogus with the exception of the 1-star guy who isn’t the friend of whoever is selling this stuff. I, now like him, have to go through the painful process of figuring out how to send this stuff back.

Much too pricey for the quality, it is durable plastic, and I know it needs to be waterproof for the beach, but it cost way to much for this

This product was not as advertised, wasn't even the right brand??Cheap version and wasn't Grey Nicolls at all. Not impressed with the alternate that came through too, a cheap and poor quality set. Not worth it and a ordeal to get returned too.

My family loves this cricket set, it works really well. We use it at home as our only cricket set. I was looking for a reasonably-priced set for home use and this more than met our expectations. Love it!

Bought for my 5 year old as i'd read previously that it is sized more for kids. It suits all the family really

We wanted a new family cricket set for the beach as we are now a group of several generations. This is an excellent adult sized set that is also light enough for youngsters too. Bag is useful and roomy so you can fit a few extras in if you like. We envisage this lasting a good number of years.

I bought this as a 10th birthday present for one of my son's best friends. He loved it. The quality is good and looks as though it will survive for several summers. Good value and arrived in good time.

Bought one previous in John Lewis which was £ 5 dearer. Really good for beach and garden. X A A
