This is No Joke!! Awesome!
This is like the tool you never knew you needed until you got one, and now I can't believe I ever lived without one of these things!! Are you going to build a whole house with it? No, but if you are building a house you won't believe how many things this thing comes in handy for. Any kind of cabinet work is a million times easier. Tight spots...no problem. Around corners...done! It comes with an angled head, a regular drill chuck and an impact head, a couple batteries and a charger. It has an adjustable friction clutch for all chucks, it's compact, but yet powerful, and variable speed trigger with a hi and low range. Get yourself a carabiner with some hex bit holders on it, a set of hex drills and some hex screw bits and throw them all in the handy case, and you're all set for just about anything. I never thought I'd give up using my regular cordless drills all the time, but now I find myself reaching for this 90% of the time.Again, this tool isn't for something like driving deck screws, but for small tight stuff it is indispensable. I also got a small set of hex sockets that I keep in the case on a carabiner, so now small "some assembly required" projects are a snap too. I can't even keep this thing in my shop because I keep bringing it back into the house; I just leave it inside now. It's really that useful. When I first got it I thought it might be kind of a gimmick, but I figured I'd give it a shot. Since then it's probably one of the best small power tool decisions I've ever made. I highly recommend.

Great versatility and awesome portability
I do maintenance at an apartment complex that’s spread out over three blocks so I do a lot of walking back and forth. I carry all of my tools in a tool backpack (Veto Propac). I used to carry my Milwaukee Fuel 18v impact in my bag and often would need to go to the shop to get my 18v drill when I needed to do some drilling. Since I got the Milwaukee installation tool I have dropped some weight in my bag and it fits more comfortably since the 12v tool is smaller. Also it has mostly cut out the need for me to go get my drill as I just use the drill chuck attachment instead. Now I still have to get my 18v drill for things like cutting door knob holes and drilling into concrete as this isn’t a hammer drill but it’s rare that I need to do those things so the 12v Milwaukee Installation tool has become my daily use power tool. It’s lighter, quieter and gets into more places with the right angle and offset attachments. Love this tool, especially the magnet on the front for holding different bits or even extra screws so I don’t have to worry about fishing through my pockets for one. Highly recommended. This tool is powerful and has no problem sinking 3” screws all the way down into solid wood. And it’s easier to use overhead since it’s lighter and smaller. This tool has made my life so much easier, thanks Milwaukee.

Husband loves this set
I got this set for my husband and he loves it! He has lots of full size tools but these fill a niche due to their smaller size, allowing him to work in tight spaces. I support a team of radio techs that do installs and removals of RF radios, and although our employer supplies all standard tools, several of them have purchased this set on their own because it is so useful and compatible with their other Milwaukee tools. Well made and well designed set!

Versatile
This is going to be my go to drill/driver. I own several M18 units and they work great but this unit is lighter and more versatile. The heads that come with it offer multiple ways of using it. The battery lasts a decent amount of time and I have had no issues with it at all.

A special specialty driver
This is really a well built drill with some distinct negatives.1. Forward and reverse button is ridiculous2. It doesn't stand up without an aftermarket footThat said, this is an amazing product for tight, technical work. I install cabinets and appliances and this is a perfect product to use. It is ergonomic, lightweight, and most importantly, not too powerful. The current impacts are just too strong for appliance installation and driving screws into wood that can cam out easily. All in all, a great product if they just changed that insane switch or at least added an led on the back to show the position so you can see if you need to change direction while in a tight spot and you can't see the direction insicator

Great little driver
I’m an iron worker, fabricator and I have the m18 tools, a lot of them. But I’ve been dabbling in some woodwork lately and wanted to put together a lightweight m12 kit. It saves a lot of space in for sure compared to a full sized m18 drill and 5ah batteries. I think I’ll find a lot of uses for this installation driver. Excellent for honey do type jobs, hanging stuff on walls, putting together miscellaneous whatnot. I can see it being handy while doing automotive work too. Haven’t ridden it really hard, but that’s not really what it’s made for. Plenty of torque though if needed and the clutch is easy to fine tune so you don’t strip screws out or over sink them. I typically throw the oversized hard boxes Milwaukee tools come in, but I like this bag the kit came with, when you pull the tool and charger out, it stores the heads and it’s perfect for a set of 1/4” drive bits, level, stud finder and some screws for those nick nack installation or removal jobs. The magnet on the front is nice too.
