Don’t follow the instructions!
This is a really nice fan. It moves a lot of air and looks good. But I really don’t know what they were thinking when they decided how the fan gets attached to the mounting bracket. The instructions tell you to attach the fan to the *underside* of the bracket. That’s dumb for 2 reasons:1. That essentially prevents the fan from being adjusted side to side at all. The fan frame hits the bracket. Very annoying.2. Physics! If you attach the fan per the instructions, the entire fan is hung from the bolt. This worsens the fan vibration and will fatigue the bolt over time. Probably not enough to cause a failure, but no one wants a wobbly fan that looks like it’ll fly off the wall at any minute - which is what I got when I installed it their way first.Instead, put the fan on top of the bracket (see my photos). The fan is then supported by a very robust bracket - in this configuration, the bolt only keeps the fan in place and doesn’t support the fan’s weight at all. This results in much less vibration during operation, and there’s also way more side-to-side adjustment possible. One caveat: the little handle on the fan will prevent it from being oriented totally perpendicular to the floor - that’s not an issue for me since I’ll never want the fan in that position anyway, but thought I should mention it at least.(Disclaimer: follow the instructions for the rest of the install - don’t get me in trouble, y’all. I attached the bracket to wood studs with the recommended lag screws and it’s solid as a rock.)So - in summary - this would have been a 3 star review if I’d have followed the instructions. But since I didn’t — I got myself a 5 star fan. Hope this helps!

Quality Wall Mount Fan
The first clue that Air King cares about shipping a quality product is the heavy cardboard box. Too many outfits are increasingly using light-weight (cheaper and cheaper to ship) flimsy cardboard to ship products in, that provide little or no protection. Not so Air King; they shipped my 20" fan in heavy, stiff, old school cardboard. Kudos to Air King for that. Naturally the fan arrived in perfect condition. All the pieces were there and it went together without a hitch. The hardest part was making sure I hit the studs with my backing board that let me hang the fan in between studs. The fan blows plenty of air, and is not excessively loud. You have to expect some sound, since sound is nothing more than exactly moving air, and moving air is what a fan does. I don't know if I'd be comfortable sleeping with its sound, but is not "loud" even on high. Low speed most days will be plenty for working out in the garage. The fan does not wobble or vibrate. Compared to the lower price point fans, you pay for a quality fan, and the 2-way mount. This is one of the very few wall mount non-oscillating fans with full two degrees of freedom; you can turn it side to side, and tip it up and down. No $50-80 fans that I've seen allow that. With this Air King, you can point the fan wherever you want, which is worth the extra 30%. You also get a nice heavy duty six-foot power cord. Other outfits made me laugh while shopping, noting their "extra long" three-foot cord. Air King gives you a six-foot cord, and I appreciated that too. The pull cord extension is cheap string (the first six inches where it goes into the motor is metal) , but that's easily remedied, and I can't complain about that cost saving item. Everything else, especially the bracket, is heavy duty metal and solidly powder coated. Time will tell, but it sure seems like I got exactly the solid "good" quality fan I thought I was paying for.

Finally!! A worthy fan!
I read a ton of reviews and ordered a BLT Hard 4600 CFM 20" fan... it was crap and I sent it back. I needed two stout fans to put over my stalls to circulate air in Florida during the summer. The BLT Hard one only pushed air in one, narrow path and barely reached the center of the stall from about 10' up. So, I did NEW research elsewhere and found these. What a difference!! This is a stout, heavy, workhorse of a fan. It was fairly easy to mount the bracket, but the fan is HEAVY so make sure your ladder is secure! I took the advice of another reviewer and mounted the fan ABOVE the bracket, not below it. It makes way more sense that way. I'd rather it not have all of its weight hanging on one bolt. I also bought one of those plugs that turns your appliances on with a remote so I can turn it on and off from the ground. Very handy. WARNING: most "chain pull" fans are DONE if the chain gets accidentally yanked out. You can't just open it up to put a new chain in as you would think you could. This is another reason I bought the remote option. As long as I have the fan set at a good speed for my purposes, I don't need to pull the chain at all. Lastly, I'm not sure what all the "noise" fuss is about. A powerful fan makes noise and I don't think these are any louder than one would expect them to be. Maybe a lot of first-time fan owners out there?? Mine is set on medium and the sound level is totally reasonable. This is a great fan for the money.

Powerful fan, should come with a flush mount ceiling mount
Just installed, will update my review after a few months. I didn't like the hanger that came with it, if you have a low ceiling (and do a ceiling mount) the fan is way too low. I bought a 6" 5/16 lag screw and flat washer and lock washer and a1/2" by 2" washer (for near the ceiling) and drove that into a ceiling joist and I think I could hang from it. I think the manufacturer should create a flush mount smaller ceiling mount and send that w/ the packaging. I'm attaching how it looked with the original mount and then a closeup and wider shot of my hacked mounting system.

Quality
I ordered another brand, similar price. I had to send it back because it wouldn’t oscillate. I decided to give this fan a try. Very solid and came put together unlike the other. Made in USA as well. Perfect for my one car garage gym.

Utter garbage - buy literally anything else.
These things are garbage. Every summer, they die. They do not hold up to heat. The "sealed motor" does not hold up to dust. I'd give anything for a quality product.
